Well my guess is that it's not only a security issue for them, but it also minimizes their investment into finding valid viable operators that can do the job. But anyway, did you write them back and inquire as to how you would be able to go about being referred by an operator? Would it be possible for you to talk to an operator in order to gain a referral?

It might sound silly, but I think asking those questions will show them your serious about becoming an operator.

I would also say that if you do not respond to their denial, then you are exactly what they are trying to weed out.

Do you have an audio tape or maybe a CD you could send them as examples of your work?

I did write back and ask to get to talk to someone to proof that I'm able to talk, and that I do have a good phone voice but they just refused again... looks like they really are too close minded for their own good
