Well it is time for our monthly update, even if it is a few weeks late. Things have been going well for us. With the improved weather we have been getting out more and being more active on top of what we are doing in the gym. We've started doing day hikes on our weekends off. Had a great time going to Cloudland Canyon state park a few weeks ago and hiking. That is something that a year ago we wouldn't have even dreamed of doing. I have to say I am very proud of my wife. She has gone down 34 lbs. She has dropped from a size 24 to an 18-20. She got a new outfit for her birthday and all I got to say is WOW!! :facelick: I have slowed down a little on the weight loss, but it is still dropping. I'm down another 9 lbs to 367 lbs. I even managed to get on a pair of size 42 shorts at the store. :D

This has gotten us both excited to get out and about more in the lifestyle. Unfortunately things are pretty dead in this area online. Our best out look looks like spending a weekend at the grove, but with new jobs and the assorted BS in life there is no telling when we'll make it back there. Hopefully late May or June, but who knows.

We hope that everyone else out there that said they are working on getting healthy are having good luck. Feel free to message us if you want to talk, trade advice, or anything.

CONGRATULATIONS!! keep up the good work!

It is a slow process and 2-3 pounds per week is the safest and most permanent way to lose and keep it off. If your not doing it yet I suggest you each take your measurements (chest/Bust, Bicep, upper thigh and waist) reason being is that if your not losing pounds your losing inches.

Don't be discouraged by platues!

If you have not done it already I would look for someone with a body gem machine, it will cost about $40 per to do the 5 minute test however, it will give you a more exact calorie amount per day and be specific to the person doing it. If calorie counting is not your cup o' tea I suggest weight watchers, it is by far one of THE best programs around and actually teach you to eat better and the tools they make available for your success are great. they even have little books you can keep with you when you go out so you can make smarter choices when dining out.

Keep the faith and keep up the good work!! I am proud of you!
