Fitting Swinging into one's life
Now, this is in now way a complaint, just a commentary on where we happen to be in this swinging adventure.
Over the past decade I (the guy) half was pretty busy: played in a band a few times a month; worked on a masters degree; dealing with kids activities through middle and high school. Well, the band is in semi-retirement; school is done; kids are older. Through this time, we really didn't do a lot on weekends as far as going out, parties, etc.
Now we are on the other end of the spectrum. We have jumped in eyes wide open and having a good time, but geez it is hard to keep up sometimes.
We've been very fortunate (lucky?) to have met a number of couples we click with and see numerous times. We've also gotten into a few house party circles. But trying to find time to meet can be such a nightmare sometimes. With holidays (Easter, mother's day, father's day) family events, travel, and work schedules it seems like we need an assistant to keep up with the various meets (and people, lol) we want to do.
A few months ago I was lamenting about not meeting people, lol, but no longer a problem. As we expand our circle of swinger friends, we meet more and more people who would like to meet up. Typically we meet people at a local M&G that's a lot of fun, as well as house party meetings.
But looking at our schedule we're out to June and July with trying to find free weekends. We love to meet new people, but think we are not into doing everyone that comes along (though some really hot couples have expressed interest!) There's probably some times here and there for spontaneous meeting, but trying balance regular encounters with the couples we've connected with and couples we would like to meet is a head spinner.
