Rub-a-dub, three maids in a tub . . .
Hey! Rub-a-dub, ho! rub-a-dub, three maids in a tub,
And who do you think were there?
The butcher, the baker, the candlestick-maker,
And all of them gone to the fair.
Mother Goose's Quarto or Melodies Complete, published in Boston, Mass., 1825
JoAnn has said many times that I fail to relax in a social situation because I make orgasm my primary goal for the evening. Friday evening's fun has proved the correctness of her advice.
It was cold at the mountain-top home to which we had been invited and the only people who braved the walk into night air to get into the hot tub were me and three women. It was just drinks, smalltalk, enjoying the bubbly water and the occasional flirtatious touches and squeezing of buttocks among the four of us. One of the women poses the question, "I've heard that warm water encourages a man to have an erection." Before I could stutter a clever reply, one woman reaches over to test the theory. The other two conduct tests of their own invention. The women apply various tests with each other to gage levels of arousal. I don't know how much time passed but I eventually became aware, after hearing applause and seeing the flash of a camera, that an audience had gathered at the rail of the wooden deck that overlooks the hot tub. We all gave the "princess" wave for our audience and went back to our play. JoAnn is right; all I have to do is relax and follow the fun.
