Mr. Fuse and I are home recovering from a cold. We were supposed to be doing something vanilla all weekend, but canceled that due to just feeling wiped and not wanting to get anyone else sick. We have been hiding out at home. Mr. Fuse figured out how to play Netflix "Play Now" movies on our TV, and we've been OD'ing on movies. Gotta love modern technology.

Of course, since we weren't making any plans, we had multiple opportunities to go out and have a good time. One was a house party organized at the last minute (I think someone's kids were suddenly gone for the night). The couple giving the party, who invited us, is a half-match with us. I like him and would have liked to jump his bones at a house party, but unfortunately his wife and my sweetie aren't a match. So the only way I'd probably get to be with him would be at a house party. Damn. I hate thinking about him just there, maybe available for bone jumping, and I'm here... and sitting in front of the computer.

The other was an IM from a couple we'd talked to on AFF and IM, but had given up on ever meeting them. They might or might not have invited us out -- it was a "Hey, we might be available tonight -- how about you?" type of IM. I'd figured they'd completely forgotten about us, so it was a welcome surprise even though we couldn't capitalize on it.

I know we're not going out, especially since I got tired just walking down the block today. But darn it... rats... how frustrating... I am really just happy we got invited, though. Makes me feel good. Hopefully next time it will work out better!
