Anticipation....

Mr. Fuse and I have plans to meet not one, but two, potentially great couples over the next few days. I've got my fingers crossed; bring on the jokes.

The first couple we meet tomorrow night (Saturday). This is one of those rare and welcome occasions when a couple made first contact with us and we are interested. They are not really a couple; they're two singles who've been dating for about a month. He has previous experience as a single male, and she is very eager to explore the things the lifestyle has to offer, being a very sexual person who was previously in a repressive relationship. We've talked to them both on the phone and are seriously looking forward to meeting them. They both seem smart, reliable and fun. He is a huge flirt and I love that. We don't mind that they aren't a long-time couple, although in general we prefer those.

The second couple we will meet on Monday after work. I saw their profile on AFF today and dropped them a note. Within several hours we'd exchanged a couple of nice emails, face pictures and a phone call (just with her, since he's at an office). Again, it is so nice to talk to people who can hold a conversation and seem like they won't stand you up. I would've liked to have talked to both of them, but talking to her alone seems fine in this case.

I tend to get frustrated every once in a while with trying to find couples who excite us, and especially with trying to find them online and set up dates. So the next time that happens I will have to remind myself of today. Of course we haven't met either of these couples yet, and they could both be duds in person-- or find us to be duds. But the anticipation before the meet is actually something I enjoy very much. Having two meets to look forward to in such a short time is great.

Good luck with both dates! Here's hoping it leads to lots of fun for all involved.

On a completely different note, I can't look at the word "Anticipation" without replaying that Tim Curry line from Rocky Horror Picture Show:

Antici............................................................pation.

(sorry about that. Carry on now)

{Big grin} Last night was wonderful. Now, I've got afterglow to bask in and anticipation for Monday. I'm a lucky woman.
