Condoms are so much cheaper online!

So when we went to the store to look for a few different kinds of condoms I knew I could probably find a variety pack online a lot cheaper, I had no idea how much cheaper.

We went to Wal-mart initially and they had several 3packs... ok maybe not several, but a few and they were running around 1.50 to $2/pack. Unfortunately, they were also locked up in a case that required an employee with a key. And employee is hard enough to find at Wal-mart without even having to find the one that has the Key.

So we went to Wal-greens and they were like double the price. We still bought a couple of different ones to get us started.

Then I went online and found several options for condom variety packs, some that even offer more than condoms... and a couple of different ones at Amazon.com even for around $10 for 30 or more condoms. The one I want though is this one that comes with the metal box I've been saying I wanted to get to store the condoms and transport condoms and small items to the club. Check it out.

Wow...never seen such. Why on earth lock up condoms?

To me that makes no sense...I want teenagers/adults to be able to get condoms easily, if you have to ask someone to unlock a case before you get them I bet there are numerous people who would shy away from that.

That is the one thing about our Wal-Mart...it basically sucks in most things but they do have a huge variety of condoms and they aren't locked up.

That's a new one, condoms under lock and key. Even here at the Backasswardsville Wal-mart they don't lock up the condoms!

I guess once they got that sex toy ban all ironed out in your neck of the woods, they decided to lock up the condoms next :)

I said the same thing - not only were the condoms locked up but also the pregnancy tests....

Pet's thought was that they probably had a high incidence of shoplifting on those items from teens who couldn't afford to buy them. I would have expected this more at the Wal-mart on the other side of town, but not the one we were in.

Maybe we need an awareness campaign for Planned Parenthood around here.
