When Mrs. CXXC and I go to parties, clubs or have guests over for dinner etc... I generally have one or two beers in the evening. this is more of a courtesy to the ladies (No whiskey dick here) than anything else. MRs. CXXC has been rather intoxicated on a couple occasions in our past play history as well as been sober as a judge on most others.

We both have made the decision to only have a social beverage when playing now. As she loves wine, and I love Scotch or a good lager, we find that one or two will not change our desires, thoughts or wants in an evening.

If we are with a couple who does not drink, wh honor their requests by not pushing the issue yet will still have out one or two. It kinda goes with the territory.

I have seen a post about this on another site where the question was, do you need to drink to have fun? One answer was, "Why start a fire with a flint when you can just use a lighter!?"

Alcohol is the great social lubricant. When used correctly, it will aid the individual in coming out of their shells. However, when used to excess, it can be the undoing of the individual or party in general!

We rarely have more than a drink or two ever, and have no need of it for swinging. Sober swinging is generally more fun for me than drunk swinging in the long run.

Sometimes I like to have a drink or two, but rarely more when we are on a date. Occasionally it is fun to get more of a buzz just for the feeling of it, but sex is much more fun without much of of buzz. Mr. Fuse and I often share a beer over dinner.

I don't drink and swing. Mrsfun does....

However, if we were set for the night with a hot tub, going no where else. Yea, I'd have one with y'all

The thing is, while not drinking. It's like no one knows it but me. No one comments..... like its nothing really.

Now dancing sober, has a really big impact on me. Sooooo Not good ! I'm like Elaine from Seinfeld, dancing as a man.

I'm kinda glad people are a little buzzed on the dance floor. Makes me blend in better.

We dont think a drink or two hurts with a lil'buzz. But no one wants to get wasted, risks chances of not remembering?! thats no fun
