Does it all seem so complicated some times?

We don't meet tons of people online, it's not often that I contact people. But I do check out profiles, new people, people close by in chat, etc.

Sometimes though it makes my head spin trying to understand all that the couple is into, before making contact, to make sure we're compatible.

  • Age Range
  • No Swap/Soft Swap/Full Swap preferences
  • Women Only Play
  • My man can touch your women but your man can't touch me.
  • Women Play is the required appetizer for a full swap main course.
  • Looking for friends/just looking to fuck
  • HWP
  • Straight/Bi/Bi-Curious/Bi-Friendly
  • Looking for people shaped just like us (height and weight range)
  • Married/Living Together/Married but not to each other
  • Same Room/Separate Room/Both
  • Likes/Dislikes Club Scene
  • MFM/FMF/MFMF
  • Are there pics? Just the female? Just the male? (if not pics of both, then why not??)
  • Do the pics seems to make sense with the profile stats (age/height/weight)
  • ...

Not saying anything is wrong with people's preferences, but I sure wish the online sites would offer better ways to search/match people based on a broad set of preferences where possible. Some sites offer varying degrees of allowing the above settings.

We always felt that what you are looking at (profiles) are just a small piece of who they are.

There is no way you can know if you are compatible (sexualy) without meeting them in person.

Using profiles to meet people, is the most work .

But its fun, if not amusing ;)

Oh, I understand that a profile is just a small piece of the puzzle, but if the profile says specific things that don't match our tastes we're not going to pursue that couple.

I typically use profiles that are associated to events we are attending to find people we might like to meet. This means weeding out the ones that definitely are not a match.

I just get frustrated sometimes, when I find a couple we find attractive and read the profile and find some aspect that makes us not a match. Like specifics around girl-girl play when my wife is bi-curious at best!

Getting all four people to match up is a bitch, isn't it? Profiles, I agree, is a small part of who they are. While some profiles are straight up, some aren't and it requires a bit of digging to find out what they're really after.

We usually look at profiles from people in our group that are attending whatever party to see if we'd like to meet them. We never weed though. Sometimes people don't change their profile while they've changed their minds on a few things like playing alone, or girl/girl stuff not being mandatory, etc... We never count anyone out until we've met and mutually decide they're just not a match.

Still, I feel your pain. Or at least, we feel your pain. :) Hang in there, tho. :)

LFM2 You raise a good point about people change in real life but the profile doesn't (heck just look at the age and pictures sometimes that seem stuck in history, lol). I do ask regarding profile differences when contacted. A recent contact discussed alot of f-f play but that's not for my wife. I emailed back and said perhaps we're not a match but they said that's fine it's not a requirement (though the profile did seem to focus on that).

And hey, no pain no gain!
