Hello all! Mrs. Swingly here . . .

My husband (that's Mr. Swingly) and I are both very new to the site, and have not yet had our first adventure (though we have had some mind-boggling sex just talking about it for the past month!). This site has been so helpful for us as we've come up with questions and scenarios, that I thought I might be able to give something back by starting a blog here for noobs to read.

I'm a big-blogger in my vanilla life and run several successful ones in various cracks and crevices on the Internet. So even though I don't yet have experiences to relate regarding the swinging life, I thought perhaps I might have something to contribute if I blogged about Mr. Swingly's and my experiences as we go forward through the process of entering the lifestyle.

Our first event is coming up on the 17th. It's a Christmas party at a local on-premises club here in Washington. It looks like it's going to be a really good time and we are both looking forward to it. I'm planning to have my hair and nails done over the course of the next week so I will be at my best, despite the fact that I don't really think we will wind up hooking up with another couple for anything more than good conversation. I want to bring my best game to the table nonetheless as first impressions are generally the lasting ones.

So, I think for this first blog installment, I'll talk about how the subject of swinging came up in our marriage.

First of all, my husband is a sex machine. He loves sex, loves women and despite the fact that he's a few years my junior, has taught me a great deal about getting free, getting happy and really enjoying my body. We've been married for 8.5 years and living together for 10. Swinging is something that I've thought about off and on for quite a while, but never said anything about. For whatever reason, and I really couldn't tell you why, those thoughts turned into Internet searches a few months ago. I didn't have the nerve to Mr. Swingly right at first what I was thinking, so I kept what I had learned to myself and just sort of tabled it for a few months. Then, for no real reason that I can remember, we were driving down the road and I just blurted out, "I've been thinking about swinging and did some internet searches...what do you think?" His face looked something like this: and then quickly turned to . Shortly thereafter, we found this site, and with him on board (him being "on board" is really an understatement of a magnitude that's difficult to describe), I got up the nerve to email the manager of one of the local clubs and we're now on the confirmed list for the party on the 17th.

In the interim, we've been fucking like rabbits and using some techniques that we haven't pulled out and dusted off in a quite a while. Even just talking about it has been great fun and good for our relationship. I believe we are both ready, and because we are best friends and lovers, our experiences will be all the better because they will be shared. This is a phenomenon that I fully recognize because in my work I have to travel, and I always find that when I'm in a new place it seems a little less real because Mr. Swingly is not there to share it with me.

I would never "cheat" on Mr. Swingly - but I do think it would be nice to experience some different cock, and Mr. Swingly is down for that. (Of course, he's down for his own fun too, which I think is just great).

Like the business travel thing, the fact that you get to share these new explorations with your partner makes them significantly richer in my estimation. And the fact that there are sites like this on the Internet to help guide you and watch out for known pitfalls and potential problems is just wonderful. I'm going to refrain from being TOO enthusiastic because I haven't done anything yet. But I hope to soon have some swinging experiences to share here.
