Splash Party - Orlando May 15-18

Got a note from a friend telling me that we should go to the Splash Party in Orlando in May. I hadn't really thought about it, but then I did and I asked Pet about it to see what he thought. He was all for it. He just amazes me how open he is to all of this and involved and interested. I am so lucky to have him in so many ways.

So after he said yes I went back and started looking at booking it. Turns out Allegiant Air (our cheap airline) actually flies to Orlando 3 times a week two of which happen to be exactly the days we need them to be (15th and 18th). I didn't book it yet... until I confirm again with Pet. But it looks like we can do the whole trip for under a grand.... flight will be under $200 for both of us. How awesome is that.

So who's going with us?

We wish, I think the flight would be just a hair more than 200.00 from Seattle to Florida.

I heard it was a law in Florida that all Adult beverages come with an umbrella, even Pabst...

...Perhaps I am thinking of Thailand or St. somthingorother

LOL. When I pulled the flights up this morning it was just a tad over $300 for both of us. I guess I shoulda booked it last night. Now we are debating whether or not to go down early and go to Disney or Universal for a day or 3. Allegiant flies out of Huntsville 3 times a week, it appears.

So finally booked this tonight. After we had already decided we were going, we realized this is our anniversary....lol. I realized it and asked him if he'd realized it and he was like "uh no...". Well, i guess he never has to worry about me getting pissed if he forgets our anniverary, since I'll probably have forgotten it too.

Turned out to be a good thing I didn't book when I had looked before. When i went online to check the flights tonight, they were $29 pp/pw again. Granted Allegiant nickels and dimes you to death and with taxes it came out to just over $200 for both of us (including reserved seats as to not risk getting stuck on opposite ends of the planes and $10/bag for checked baggage). Not too bad really. We are going to go down a day early and go to Universal.
