Do not cancel!!! Is another FULL day worth $500, if so do it and enjoy but don't leave it to chance. If you leave it to chance and you are like me you will fret the whole time about the end of your trip and might miss some really good stuff along the way.

Either way go and enjoy what you have and think of me cause I would sooooo be there if I could manage it

You are SO right about me worrying about taking the chance on waiting to book the extra day/return flight. And we both desperately need the time to recharge our batteries and REALLY reconnect after all his travel.

And yes, my honey did go ahead and extend the trip via Expedia. I'll just have to work extra hard towards getting my subbing bonus this year.

don't worry about anything right now, it will always work out and if not I will send food and coupons for icecream so no one will go hungry and if nothing else I will send a check to cover the electric bill! You have a good time and send me pics!! I can live the trip vicariously.

Lol, thanks for the offer, but I think we'll be okay. My honey also informed me that his next paycheck should reflect his new salary . . . So we can add that to the list of things we're celebrating.
