Having begun our journey, I've decided to document (with proofreading and input from *A*) our progress for prosperity.

We've taken the approach (initially anyway) that we are not going to hunt for new partners. The pursuing, wooing, and seducing of another couple isn't all that interesting to us (that may change of course). Our sex is currently between the two of us, and other people are simply an accelerant/catalyst for that. We are not adverse to the idea of having others involved in our sex, and if that happens organically, then that's fine, but we are not interested in doing the whole online profile/classified ad thing to achieve it.

Our kids are off at camp for two weeks (Love 'em totally, but OMG it's been awesome!) giving us complete freedom and we've been taking full advantage of it. Last Thursday night we attended a burlesque revival show with the theme "Hotel Tryst" which was a lot of campy fun and left us with a lot of fantasy material involving the performers, the staff, and certain audience members.

*A* has a nice collection of lingerie that we've built up over the years, some very sexy pieces from Agent Provocateur, a beautiful black corset from Northbound Leather, etc. and we are really enjoying putting together outfits that go over or under these pieces (she is working an awesome sexy librarian look right now) and the store we jokingly refer to as the 'Slut Store' in the mall suddenly has a whole lot more value to us.

Living in Toronto, we are blessed with an abundance of "Lifestyle"clubs. So when *A* and I decided to investigate swinging that's were we decided to start (and it gives *A* and excuse to wear her sexy attire in public - which we both enjoy immensely).

Over the next several posts I will talk about our experience with the clubs we've tried and the things we've learned about ourselves in the process.
