X Club was about a 30 minute drive from M4 and as we drove we talked about what we liked and disliked about M4 and what we hoped to find at X.

X is located discreetly in an industrial park, unlike M4, I had little concern about being spotted entering the club. Even though we arrived after 11PM we were greeted warmly by one of the co-owners and given a thorough tour of the club. The front area looked like an upscale nightclub/bar and it was full of attractive people (mostly couples and single women, if there were single men in attendance we didn't notice). The DJ was spinning and the dance floor was full. The back area had several private and semi private rooms (with windows and curtains onto the common areas) and a large shared bed area with small alcoves around it's perimeter for less adventurous couples.

The club had nice atmosphere and design touches throughout, mirrors on the ceilings and walls of the private rooms, pillows and bolsters on the beds, draped fabric and chandeliers and nice light fixtures everywhere. All of the sofas and other non bed seating in the back area appeared to be vinyl and very clean, and the floor was "hardwood" (carpet at the other clubs just kinda grossed us out).

The crowd ranged in age from late 20's to mid 50's everyone was well dressed and attractive. No one was a model, but it was clear that everyone had spent some time on their appearance for the night. *A* didn't see any men that she found attractive, but we both saw several woman who we agreed on. We were definitely not the youngest in the crowd, but neither were we the oldest, we definitely felt like we fit in. Overall this felt like the kind of club that we'd been imagining.

After the tour, we both got a drink and picked a sofa with a good view of the dance floor and the two stripper poles and sat and watched for a bit until a song came on we felt like dancing to. The music was a combination of house and current dance hits, and though the the DJ did take requests, *A* and I's music tastes can be a little eclectic and he didn't recognize any of our suggestions (sad trombone).

We both enjoyed watching the crowd, dancing, and necking on the sofa, and before we knew it it was well after midnight and we had to decide what we were going to do next. We decided to head to the back and see if there was a private room available. We were met by one of the attendants who greeted us with a big smile and directed us to one of the private rooms. We both decided later that we should have asked for a locker and towels and toured the back area (now that it was in use) before requesting the private room, as closing ourselves off in the private room felt too abrupt.

*A* enjoyed the sounds around us, but I found the alien environment and the sounds of conversation mixed in with the moans distracting (although we've shared all kinds of sex, I cannot remember the last time I had sex anywhere other than a private bed) and I had a hard time reaching orgasm. Although we kept the door closed, it wasn't locked and we heard it open a couple of times as people checked to see if the room was occupied. *A* later recounted how that turned her on to be watched by someone as we fucked.

We left the club well after 1AM and it was close to 2 before we got home. The sex we shared when we got home was wonderful and we both talked about the things we'd enjoyed at the club.

Lessons Learned:

1. X seemed to hit our sweet spot for decor and crowd.
   
2. Closing ourselves off in a private room too soon was a mistake.
   
3. *A* has an awesome exhibitionist streak.
