couplers 4,615 Posted June 25 (edited) Ok, I haven’t discussed this with anyone, not even in my family, but the recent back-and-forth in one of the threads here about testicles, and my admiration of and fetish with them and a man’s scrotum, causes me to write. From the first time I read about eunuchs and knew what one was, I was horrified, but fascinated. How was such a thing possible? Wouldn’t a man like just evaporate after such a thing, if he even survived? But I read about boys made eunuchs by The Church in Middle Ages to maintain their soprano voices, guards of Arabic harems (another topic that fascinates me) who were eunuchs so as to not touch what they were guarding, and some Chinese admiral who was a great explorer. What were these men (or were they perpetual boys?) like? Did they desire women? Or men? Or no one? Somewhere I read that the Chinese rulers did it to eliminate the desire for the eunuch to want a family, but rather devote all his attention to the assigned task. IDK. If they were interested in sex, could they get it up? Ejaculate sans sperm? Again, I don’t know. My guess is that they couldn’t, and that’s why castration is proposed as punishment for rapists. Or maybe it’s just punishment. The only other thing I’ve run across is that becoming a eunuch is a thought among some extreme cuckolds, not the run-of-the-mill "fuck my wife" guys, but those into humiliation and total emasculation. I’m not sexually into or even interested in trans people, but a eunuch is different. Edited June 25 by couplers Quote Share this post Link to post
let's do it again 414 Posted June 25 The main reason for a man to become a eunuch was to prevent pregnancy while doing their assigned job. Eunuchs could still get hard and have sex, not as well, but was sterile. I know it's not the same but I look at it the same way athletes have trouble getting their SO pregnant after taking anabolic steroids over time. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
PeterJ 940 Posted June 25 According to this article from a UK medical organization, adult men who lose both testicles to cancer can, with testosterone replacement, still achieve erections and function sexually. https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/testicular-cancer/living-with/sexlife#:~:text=Removing both testicles (bilateral orchidectomy)&text=After removal of both testicles, would need testosterone replacement therapy. The whole page is worth reading, but this section addresses sex for men who have lost both testicles: Removing both testicles (bilateral orchidectomy) It isn't common to have testicular cancer in both testicles. If you do have cancer in both testicles you need surgery to remove them both. The testicles produce the hormone testosterone. After removal of both testicles, the level of testosterone in the blood falls quickly. This will affect your sex life and your ability to have children (fertility). To maintain your sex drive and be able to get an erection you would need testosterone replacement therapy. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

I’m not sexually into or even interested in trans people, but a eunuch is different. I find trans a little hard to define at times varying from cross-dressing to breast implants with dicks or hormone feminization with dick, or full bottom surgery. Then there's which or both sexes attracted to. Interesting what makes people tick, I try to be open minded. I did want to mention an early trans, Nero castrated his slave boy Sporus and groomed him/her as a female and married her. She was wife #4, Nero kicked #2 to death. Nero had earlier married freedman, Pythagorus, who had played the role of Nero's husband; now Sporus played the role of Nero's wife. TnA83 306 Posted June 30 I heard about a trans pornstar that had him/herself castrated to maintain a more girlish figure. He/she kept the penis because that would be a bridge too far. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Might fit with their personal life. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

J&Wu 408 Posted July 2 MTF surgery in USA might not be covered by insurance either, or at least fully covered. Orchiectomy maybe $2 thousand to $8 thousand. Full bottom surgery that is available in today"s world, $20 thousand to $300 thousand, and big difference in potential complications. Quote Share this post Link to post
