All the women we met were fully shaved, the men were not.

Not at all. Some find a full bush sexy. If you are unsure, play it safe and shave or close trim. For me, shaved or not isn’t nearly as important as feeling safe and having some kind of connection.

I don't think anyone would expect you to totally shave.  I look as their pubic grooming like their personality. I think of a woman with a full bush as having a bohemian style about them.
