Adult Theaters in NJ ?

Hey all, just looking for some recommendations on any adult theaters in NJ.  Wife and I are interested in trying one out for some fun, but I’m not cumming up with too many choices around here.  
 

Any suggestions are appreciated!

We don't do the theater thing but we tried once.  A couple we know used to go to Berlin News Agency in Berlin, NJ. They described it as "hit or miss".  So one evening I was in that area and decided to scout it out alone.

 

It was a Thursday evening.  I paid the $10 (may be more now) to enter the "back areas" and saw one couple having sex on a circular piece of furniture while men and another couple watched.  Maybe a dozen ppl back there - 10 men and two women, all reasonably attractive, respectful and well behaved.

 

I convinced my wife to check it out with me so we went a couple weeks later also in a Thursday. But this time things were different.  We did a walk through of the back area together but only saw 4 old "creeper" type guys who followed us around.  After one pass through my wife said "we're leaving' and we left never to return again.

 

That's the only one we ever scouted and unfortunately it was a miss on our night.

Exhibitionism can be exciting, but not in a creepy environment. A regular swingers’ club may be better in this regard. There is Karizma in Hackettstown, NJ and a couple in NYC.

The suggestion by @njbm that you go to a club is a good one. VHS porn pretty much killed the adult theater, including the one on Route 9 in Sayreville, NJ. There are only a handful remaining, almost none to my knowledge in the Northeast.  And in turn the internet killed VHS and DVD porn. It’s all right there on the internet now. (My wife and I do have DVDs of some ‘70s favorites like “Behind the Green Door" and "The Devil in Miss Jones". I even have a bootleg copy of "Deep Throat" though the quality is terrible.)
 

Back in the early 1980s my then wife liked going to that theater in Sayreville, not to pick up sex partners but just because she loved both written and visual porn and erotica. It was a 20 minute drive home and she was about tearing her clothes off as we hustled through the front door. (Earlier in our relationship I’d have just jerked her off in the car. 😂)

 

We continued to live nearby each other after we split in the late ‘80s. We had an independent video store in our town and it had a curtained off area for porn tapes. One evening I was in the front part of the store, browsing regular titles when her knew husband came out of the back, clutching three or four porn tapes. He shrugged and rolled his eyes. He assumed I was familiar with her tastes and not surprised by the tapes he was carrying.

Thank you to all of you who replied.  We will definitely look into the club scene since not much in the way of a theater is available here in NJ.

A LS couple that we're friends with has invited to take us to S&S in AC, so maybe we'll give that a shot in the near future.  I'll keep ya'll posted...thanks again!!
