Mikey477 46 Posted 8 hours ago This is just hypothetical. Suppose you and your spouse had a couple that y'all regularly swing with. The other couple decided to plan a vacation, whether it was to the beach, camping, a cruise, to another country, etc. The thing is, they want to bring you and your spouse along, so you all can have fun together. Good news is that you and your spouse don't have to spend a single penny just to go on vacation with them. That means, they already paid for hotel/motel (or for a room on the cruise), they will play for tickets for any flights, they will pay for gas, they paid for meals, etc. And all you two had to do was go with them, away from life and the kids for a few days. Let's say they already planned a month or two ahead of time. Would you both accept or decline? Quote Share this post Link to post
AdamGunn2 418 Posted 8 hours ago How long is the vacation? A few days, sure. Two weeks, probably not. How well do you like the other couple? Do you think that because they're paying, they get to dictate what is done and when it's done? Or are they going to allow you the freedom you might crave from time to time. Not enough information for me to decide. Quote Share this post Link to post

hunterdonNJcpl 1,423 Posted 6 hours ago As for us that would feel a little awkward. We would accept on the condition we pay for incidentals such as maybe a rental car or the cruise bar tab (often not included in base price). 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
