It has now been a week since Vi and I met at the coffee shop and I haven't heard from her since.

 

Bummer.

 

On an up note, I made my second trip to the coffee shop this morning at 9:00 to meet another girlfriend. Boy! That place is busy that time of day and, best of all, we were the only women in there!

 

Nine great-looking men where spread about the place, all a little different, all tasty little specimens to a hungry swingerette.

 

I made a decision.

 

I'm going hunting at 9:00 am next Friday...maybe all by myself this time.

I don't think you should write her off just yet . . she could be on vacation, busy, or who knows what. But . . I'm also wondering if she was hoping that your conversation would delve a bit more deeply into sexual talk and since it didn't, maybe she might think you're a touch vanilla? Yikes! I'm wondering if you'll need to test the waters a bit more quickly next time you get together. I don't think another e-mail mentioning how you felt under the weather and weren't totally yourself would hurt a thing, and you might even make it a point to have a little evil laugh with her and bring up your sexy subject discussion when you initially met her.

 

If you speak as well as you write, I see no problems for you whatsoever with her.

 

On a related note, have you shared with your hubby the news about all the good looking guys at the coffee shop checking you out? Maybe you've found yourself a treasure trove here for lots of experiences!

Not yet. But when he arrives home tonight he'll get the full story. We are always telling each other about the hotties we see when we're out at the grocery store, mall, gas station, you name it. If there's one thing we like talking about, it's how we sniff out potential partners.

 

We figure if either of us can get a conversation going with someone, it may lead to a drink some night, and who knows what next.

 

If I get a guy to open up to me at this "Java Joint" I'd consider it trickle-down karma. Let's review how this all got started: I got a conversation going with strangers after a movie, asked the couple to join us for drinks, they accepted, they then invited us to the dinner where I met Vi, Vi introduces me to the Java Joint and I [picture the future] eventually pick up (or let him pick me up ) Mr Playmate who has a lovely wife and off we go to another swinging story.

I don't think she's reading my posts. If she had been she'd be highly complimented by them, don't you think? It would also indicate she IS a swinger, or at least a wannabe, and I feel she would have gotten back to me by now.

 

Cold feet? I don't see her as that type of woman. But you never know.

 

She may have decided I'm not her type, whether for a friend or a playmate. I, however, am not going to think my chances of getting closer are over. Challenges are fun for me.

Your timing is perfect. I was thinking of Vi last night and wondering how I should approach her next. I've let other things get in the way of pursuing her further.

 

Mr LM and I are headed to Memphis this weekend for the Meet Up and when we return I'll get an e-mail out to Vi and let you know if I hear from her.

Thanks to a PM from a friend on the board , I was reminded that I said I'd reconnect with Vi and hadn't done so yet.

 

I sent Vi an e-mail yesterday telling her I'm coming to town on Tuesday and asked if she could join me for a drink during happy hour. Yeh, that's correct. I'm moving from coffee to the hard stuff.
