Mrs phoenix will shoot me for this (she's brunette) but i'm partial to redheads too. Red in nature is both the signal for danger (and we all know danger = excitement), and it is very often a signal for arousal/or sexual attraction (red breasted robins for instance).

 

My preference is auburn, wavy hair. The firebush doesn't do anything for me.

 

And I'll stop here before I ruin a good thing with science.

(mostly referring to the "carpet" more than the "drapes" LOL) But there are also a lot of people who will make a point of pointing out that they dislike the things that go with it...Fair skin, freckles. As I age I'm more comfortable in my own skin...and even embrace the things that make me unique, it's still nice to read what you guys are saying!

My hubby is OK with the fact that I like to keep trimmed, but strongly requests that a respectable size strip is left...clearly he's with you guys on this!

I am also a redhead and have always loved it and have never thought of changing the hair color. I am shaved below but I do keep a landing strip so that it is known that I am a TRUE redhead.

Chose my avatar for a reason... I've been a redhead since 1985. Had the white skin and the green eyes, just needed the hair to finish the look. Everyone thinks I'm a natural, although if asked I don't lie. And it does seem to appeal to a lot of the guys. Sadly, my husband is red/green colour blind- doesn't even know what I really look like!!

Funny story about my aunt- she married a hairdresser, and he wanted her to be a redhead. So, since her hair was really dark, they had to bleach it platinum blonde first.
