Queen-size bed for two couples?

Hello everyone. We are newbies (Only 1 adventure so far), and don't know what the norm is. The only experience we have had so far was a swap with another couple in the same room. This is how we prefer to do things.

 

It took place at the other couple's house. The other couple has a king-sized bed, so as we were all having our fun (Just straight swap), we had plenty of room to work with.

 

We are thinking of having them over to our house, but are worried that there will not be enough room in our queen-sized bed for all of us. Now we have a guest bedroom with another queen in it, but we don't want to separate. I know more seasoned swingers will think this is trivial, but how do you guys usually handle this? I'm sure we will all fit, but it may be cramped.

 

Who knows though it may prompt a 4some instead of a swap, since everyone will literally be "On Top of each other".

 

You advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We once did a 4sum in a twin bed Though I wouldn't recommend it. We now keep a queen air bed rolled up in the trunk of the car just in case an extra bed is needed wherever we are.

In our opinion, two couples in a queen-size bed is no problem at all. In fact, we think its a lot of fun!

Yes we do, but the living room windows are subject to prying eyes, but the everyone could use a good show now and then.

We also prefer the king size bed but hey...queen or double, we have had fun on both too. We had three couples on a queen-size in a motel room. A little crowded but led to lots of fun.

Unless we are in a hotel, a Queen size bed is pretty much the norm for us. It's what we have at home and whenever we are at our friends it's usually a Queen size air bed. Plenty of room for side by side sex, regardless of who wants to be on top.

We have often wondered about this. We have a queen-size bed but have never played at home. For the most part it has always been at a motel with a king-sized bed or the other couples home who have a king size too.

We've played in our home once before on a Queen sized bed. It was a little small but we still had fun. We recently purchased a king sized bed and we will have to play in it and get back to this thread.

We haven't come up against this problem as we cheated. A quilt on the floor in front of the fire. we prolly enjoy it just as much on a single bed lol, except for maybe heads banging against the wall

I have to say the king size is better - however- I do have a funny story about the queen size we had before it. Hubby is a tall guy and used to using the bed diagonally. He didn't realize he was gradually pushing us (me and the other guy) out of the bed until I swatted him with the pillow just before we fell onto the floor.

 

We all had a good laugh.

 

We too have a queen size in the spare room - if you don't want to do separate rooms - just say so, that's what we say - it's perfectly acceptable to state your rules up front.

 

But the spare room is nice for a couple that wants to sleep over after sex. It's late, you're tired and don't want to drive... or shouldn't be driving... sometimes it is a loooong drive home.

The largest bed we swung in was a queen, and although technically it was big enough, it's still pretty cramped quarters, especially if any exotic positions are attempted. Twin bed? Can't even imagine it.

I'm not tall (5'8"), but I also usually use the bed diagonally during sex. Only once did I do this with another woman in a swing situation, but my wife and the other guy had already finished and were sitting together on an armoire beside the bed in the hotel, watching us. But I don't think it would have worked well with them still beside us. It's a position in which I feel more comfortable, and in more control of my body.

When we are at home with just one other couple we do all our playing on our queen size bed. There is plenty of room and there is the additional advantage is that both couples are close enough to interact with each other if they wish, which we often do!

In a display of first world problems, while on a week long trip making the rounds to visit family Mrs cplnuswing and I recently whispered some bedtime moaning and groaning that we missed sleeping in our king-sized bed.

 

Thinking back on our swinging escapades, I can't really remember ever having foursome sex on something smaller than a king bed (swingers clubs excluded since the playroom floor or benches doen't really count as a bed). Some of that may be that since the beginning, separate room play was always something we were open to, so often it was only two people at a time needing room to romp around. When it has been a foursome, it's been on a king. But, just because we haven't doesn't mean we wouldn't give it our best try, I'm sure we could figure it out

We love our queen - many times the girls lie next to each other sideways and the guys stand next to the bed and pound away. Later it’s nice to lie close together in a nice sweaty pile!

We have a queen bed in our room in bf's house but we use the other queen bed in the guest room when we invite another couple in. The guestroom, living room, washroom become play zones, and usually foursomes happen in the living room. We prefer free flowing activities and diff permutations than being confined in 1 bed or room for the whole session play.

We have two full size beds in our guest rooms, and having parties, I can definitely verify 4 or more can find a way to connect and do a lot of things.
