Nudity in a Swingers Club.

In the swingers club that we go to there are a few ladies that walk around fully nude in the public areas. On a rare occasion my lady half would disrobe and walk around nude as well. Both I and my lady half will use the pool and spa nude but as a rule we will put a towel on once we get out of the spa. We have talk to a few couples that don’t like being fully nude in the public areas and feel that full nudity should not be allowed in the public areas while other have no problems with it. What’s your intake on full nudity in public areas of a swingers club?

Sounds like the club that we go to is setup differently. At the club we attend (although infrequently) there are 3 floors;

 

the first floor is a normal nightclub atmosphere. Women do get topless, sometimes naked, but generally people are (mostly) clothed. You don't really see anyone walking around naked; they might get naked on the dance stage, but they get dressed again afterward. There is no sexual activity here.

 

The other two floors are the on-premise part and even though there are lounging areas on these floors no one has clothes on. At most people have a towel or underwear/lingerie on. It's pretty common for people to walk around naked, sit at the bar or on a couch naked. No one is allowed to wear clothes here, towels and lingerie only.

 

We like the differentiation and once you head up to the second floor you know what to expect.

We are not nudists ourselves, so you will only see us running around with no clothes on if it is required.

 

That said, I don't have any problem with folks running around nude if that is what turns their crank. Doesn't do anything for me though, while on rare occasions I have seen someone that looked better naked than clothed, that is pretty rare. Most of the time I see naked people that would be much easier on the eyes if they put their clothes back on.

We have talk to a few couples that don’t like being fully nude in the public areas and feel that full nudity should not be allowed in the public areas while other have no problems with it. What’s your intake on full nudity in public areas of a swingers club?

 

My take on it is that if you don't want to be nude, don't be. If other people being nude bothers you, how do you swing? Turn off the lights maybe. We have ran into this attitude as well and it boggles my mind that people at a social or club can be so prudish. Neither Teresa nor I have any reservations about getting naked but understand that some do. No problem, just don't look down your nose at my wife because she likes to strip on the pole.

Rules here are usually that you will have either erotical underwear (yes, the guys too) or be nude. Aside from a few cheap clubs people really frown at people who dress in a towel. There is also one club that will only allow you to be totqally nude.

 

The thing that strikes me as odd is that many women are unhappy about the dressing rooms and showers, because they aren't seperatted by gender.

That is really the last thing I would see as necessary in a swing club

In the club we go to you can be nude in any part of the club as long as you are inside. They have a in door pool and spa mostly people are nude. I seen people getting oral sitting at the tables next to the dance floor, on the couch by the big screen TV. As long as it is between two consenting adults there is really no problem. Nudity don't matter to us. I just keep my pants or a towel on because I am one of thoes people who is best seen nude in total darkness.

Doesn't bother me a bit. I figure we're all nude (whether under a towel or not) in the back anyway. From the little I've seen no one has taken offense when the nudity has spilled into the common areas, but there is part of the club where you can play right next to the dance floor. I have to agree with Malachista, separate dressing areas seems a little odd, especially considering that my experience in Europe led me to believe that most 'spas' were co-ed and clothing optional.

At some events nudity is fine in all areas - however, the club which I frequent only allows nudity in designated "play areas". I personally am alright with either option (whatever other folk are most comfy with) - but I prefer to slip on a pair of shorts or something when not in play areas.

Depends on the place. In the States, I've noticed that the standard is "sexy underwear or towel" on most occasions. In Germany, OTOH, it was usually "Sexy underwear" on special occasions and nudity or towel on all others.

I can see clothing of some flavor being required next to the buffet, but other than that the way I look at it is that it's a swing club! We're there to have sex with strangers, I can't imagine anyone who didn't end up there by accident not even knowing where they are would be offended by nudity, which is generally required for sex.

I have a few questions regarding club administration:

 

How many clubs have a nudity only area? Where is it?

 

How many clubs have a clothing optional area? Where is it?

 

What have clubs done to allow newbies a transition area between the "front door" and the "playroom?"

 

I'm thinking specifically of smaller clubs, but any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

We haven't been to any of the clubs here in NC yet. But from past experience, it depends on the club. That is normally covered when they give you the walk through of the club and what the rules are.

One of the more sophisticated clubs in our area has "you must be wearing at least a thong or g-string on the dance floor" rule. The couple who gave us our initial tour gave a reason, "We don't want to scare off the new members." The wilder club in our area has no rule whatsoever about nakedness. Many members walk about completely unclothed -- both indoors and out of doors. An "off-premise" place we visit in another town allows nakedness only on the dance floor.

 

So I guess my answer is, "it depends."

One of our favorite clubs has a sign on the doors into the play area that reads "No Street Clothes Beyond This Point". They provide lockers (with attendants) and large towels to wrap around you. Or you can wear lingerie, or robes, if you brought them with you.

Speaking as patron, not that we have a lot of on premise club experience but the times we have seen 'no clothes beyond this point' have been the private group rooms and that area is also couples only beyond those points. That was the only mandatory 'no clothes' area and you had lockers available before you entered.

 

We have seen sex and nudity everywhere, even right next to the dance floor. We watched a guy get a nice blow job from his wife...maybe his wife while right next to them were three girls in a daisy chain. I don't know what their specific rules were for the dance floor, lol, but it didn't seem to matter what they did or where they did it.

 

We have taken a club tour at every club we have gone too (only three). On and off premise and I think this should be the key to transition every newbie. Don't make it mandatory but strongly advise it. Remind them that there is no pressure to play, ever. Just go to have a good time.

This is a small venue, perhaps a smidge larger than a house party, but much smaller than a club. We are trying to grow the M&G and party attendance.

 

Being physically small we've had difficulty with newbies walking into nudity and more, before they should have been exposed.

 

From personal experience, I think required nudity in the play area is good because it reassures most folks that there are no cameras and limits the area to those at least ready for nudity.

 

I think a club tour is going to be mandated, though "No means NO" is posted everywhere, a personal reassurance should be part of the orientation. It would give everybody a chance to understand and/or be reassured. Those stories about couples showing up at the door with his intention to *surprise* the new girl friend are not urban legends.....

The visuals that sprang to mind had me laughing very hard. Those are the things that make for great stories down the road if you make it through the moment, lol.

 

Being from NC, that whole area is a great place to probably build something for those that do not want to drive into Raleigh or Charlotte. We just recently moved from NC down to Florida and were afraid we were going to lose momentum but managed to find a great group of people to connect with.

 

Would love to hear more of how it goes.

The only club we have ben too is the Red Rooster in Las Vegas. They have a bedroom area upstairs, which is for couples only, where nudity is required.

 

Prevents the lookie-loos from standing around the beds fully clothed, which is distracting, while your trying to have sex.

The club which I usually go to is a private house in a residential neighborhood... people are allowed to be naked in the designated "play areas" (i.e., the pool, the backyard, the bedrooms/playrooms) - people in public areas like the living room & the kitchen are asked to "cover up"

At an off-premise club you aren't going to have full nudity at all (you may see some flesh, some boobs, etc but in general it will be covered).

 

Most on-premise clubs require some sort of clothing in the social areas. Few REQUIRE nudity and even then it's only in the play areas, just to put everyone on equal ground (cuts down on the looky loos). There's always a transition space in those clubs that do require nudity (usually a changing room or locker room).

 

The place where you are most likely to walk in and find everyone (or many) already naked with no transition, is a house party (if you get there late... and sometimes if you get there on time).
