JustAskJulie 2,595 Posted February 16, 2010 I'm curious if any of you listen to any of the Swinger Podcasts that are out there. I know of a few.... SwingerCast & SuperSecretSwingers are the two that I can think of off the top of my head. I know there are others that I just can't recall. I don't get as much opportunity to listen to any of them as I used to, so I haven't had a lot of thought to go looking for others. Are there any that you enjoy? Quote Share this post Link to post
mikeandjenn2001 77 Posted February 16, 2010 I like to listen to SwingerCast and MrnMsbhaven. I've never heard SuperSecretSwingers. Guess I'll have to go check that one out. Quote Share this post Link to post

exploringRM 305 Posted February 17, 2010 I stumbled into the savage love website, Dan Savage. It's a podcast where people write or call for realtionship advice, gay, straight, swing, alot of alternative topics. I'll have to check out the other sites listed above. My problem is that I don't have tons of time to do a dedicated listen with headphones. In the car I tend to not pay attention to the topics as too much...automatic/zone out driving Quote Share this post Link to post
BuffaloSoldier 15 Posted May 5, 2010 I've started listening to Life on the Swing Set recently. I really like it a lot. It's available on i-Tunes. Quote Share this post Link to post
LagniappeDC 313 Posted May 5, 2010 Swingercast Rocks! We've listened, met the host couple and traveled with a bunch of swingercast groupies. Hard to match such a fun, smart, sexy bunch! As for other podcasts, Sex is Fun and the Radio Blowfish Variety Show are also good. Quote Share this post Link to post
CandLinPC 92 Posted May 9, 2010 Ok, I actually just went searching last weekend on my own without seeing this, and I have a few more. My List: Life On The Swingset - Active MRnMSBhaven - Not Active SuperSecretSwinger - Active Swap Fu - Active Swing Life - Not Active SwingerCast - Active This Secret Married Life -Active Other sex podcasts I listen to: BathTalk (Kidder and Jade) Sex is Fun The First 100 Episodes of Sex is Fun Polyamory Weekly Ask Dan and Jennifer I have downloaded what I can of the non-active (as far as I can tell) 'casts and keep them around to listen to again, and All of them have great things to learn and to stay focused on. I won't post RSS Feeds, I don't have any kind of permission to do so (Swinging privacy being what it is), but Itunes store searches or google should show up fairly well. Remember, you can usually subscribe to a feed that it not on your player's native store. For Itunes, this is in (Advanced>Subscribe to Podcast). 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

swingsetlife 20 Posted August 3, 2010 First, John & Allie rock, Swingercast is a must listen! hope you don't mind a bit of shameless self promotion, but my wife and I run a swinger website with podcast: Life on the Swingset | A primer for the swinging lifestyle offering guidance, advice, fun articles, and sex toy reviews, with a sexually open and positive frame of reference. As swingers, we believe that sharing is caring. You can get the podcasts here: Life on the Swingset - The Swinging & Polyamory Podcast by Life on the Swingset on Apple Podcasts Quote Share this post Link to post
Coupleerotic22 1,419 Posted August 4, 2010 I had listened to a couple of podcast prior to this thread being posted by Julie. Now, I have listened to several that have been introduced to me via this thread. One things strikes me right away as I listen to them. This is not a criticism, I actually enjoy it. Has anyone else noticed most of them have a very "NPR" sound to them. Perhaps it is the even tonal quality, the cadence, the occasional dead air at times or even the "sober" nature of their voices, but many are very reminiscent of NPR. Certainly the music that seems to be used adds to the sound. THe women in particular, their voices have a VERY NPR sound. It strikes me as funny when I say "sober" nature of their voices. I think I understand why they do that. They are serious about their subject, but it is such and exciting subject, it must be difficult to maintain that sobriety. Quote Share this post Link to post
Cajun2Step 65 Posted August 5, 2010 Would someone please post a list of the know podcasts with their URL. This is something new to us. It would be neat to listen to them as we travel. Quote Share this post Link to post

lovefest04 699 Posted August 6, 2010 Hey, this is great stuff. Thanks everyone for sharing. I have listened to Swingercast and really enjoyed it. John and Allie sound like two very hot hot hot kids. Quote Share this post Link to post
funcoupledayton 2,708 Posted April 13, 2013 I listen to Savage Love Life on the Swingset The Masocast Swap Fu Podcast Average Swingers Sex Nerd Sandra Swingercast Sex is Fun Pedestrian Polyamory I love Dan Savage. It's a great love and sex advice column/podcast Sex is Fun is not as good since Kidder Kaper left. Pedestrian Polyamory is an absolute trainwreck in my opinion. The Swap Fu's and Average Swingers are kind of similar to swingercast. Quite funny and entertaining. Life on the Swingset is more educational, funny at times, not as graphic. Sex Nerd Sandra and Sex is Fun are even more educational, general sex topics Boris and Doris - nonsensical, rambling, very hard to follow, completely unenjoyable to me The Masocast is really interesting and well done. Mostly interviews with people involved in the bdsm community Freedom of Fetish isn't on anymore, but it was a great podcast I listen to podcasts when I exercise and when I clean. losAmantes 318 Posted April 14, 2013 Totally agree lovenestduo! We've tried almost all of the podcasts listed and we were bored by the second or third episodes. These podcasts are geared toward vanillas that enjoy the naughtiness factor, but aren't ready to swing yet. In the best case, these podcasts may encourage a few couples to actually try out real swinging, in the worse case, they load up our parties with voyeurs and wannabe's that think they're "swingers" because someone on a podcast told them it's OK to go to a party and just hang out. If you're really interested in swinging, ditch the podcasts and go to a real party and participate, you'll learn more in one night than you will by listening to months of podcasts. funcoupledayton 2,708 Posted April 14, 2013 I disagree, we've been swinging full-swap for over 4 years and I still enjoy podcasts and sometimes learn new things from them. I didn't start listening to them until we had already started swinging. I often hear something and it leads to interesting conversations with my husband. Going to a club or party is great, but it doesn't help me stay in shape or get the laundry done! Quote Share this post Link to post
CandLinPC 92 Posted April 17, 2013 I'll update with my current list of podcasts and links for them as well. For what it's worth, I subscribe to them all, and listen to new shows when they come out, but I end up finding a few favorite episodes from each. The exceptions to this rule are Life On The Swingset, Swingercast, and Ending The Sexual Dark Age, all of which have (according to me) great content nearly every episode. Savage Love, Dan Savage's podcast can be found on The Stranger's Website. It's kind of like a "queer/sex/trans/all of the above"-positive version of Dear Abby. Almost all of these podcasts can also be found on Facebook if you want to like/friend etc. them. Also, Life On The Swingset has a spinoff coming soon, I think it's called Kinky Geeks, so be looking for that soon as well if you are of a mind. In alphabetical order. Certainly the music that seems to be used adds to the sound. The women in particular, their voices have a VERY NPR sound. I love podcasts. I have about a dozen I listen to each week. But, none of them are swinger oriented. I tried to get into several of them, but I gave up on them after a while. I suppose I get my information fix on all things swinger related here, and the podcasts hold less of an appeal to me, as the ones I've listened to tend to focus on the podcasters' recent experiences with swinging. When I listen to podcasts, I prefer information over titillation. I know there's a listener base out there that enjoys that, so I get why they are done that way. I'm glad they are out there though. Obviously there's an audience that enjoys them, and I'm happy about that. I wish all of them success. It has to be a challenging undertaking. I can't imagine being able to talk into a microphone on a subject for one, two or three hours. Here's what would get me interested in a swinger oriented podcast: Interviews with leaders in the swinging world. One of the podcasts interviewed Julie a while back, and I enjoyed that. Can one of the podcasts talk Vegaslee into an interview? There's a perspective I'd enjoy listening to. Interviews with major club owners, swinger advocates, etc would pull me in as well. If there is a podcast out there already doing these things, by all means, post a link! I will check it out. Quote Share this post Link to post

I did an interview with two of them back when The Swinger Manual came out (SwingerCast and SuperSecretSwingers- which is now dead). For what it's worth, you can still hear those interviews at http://www.swingermanual.com - just scroll all the way to the bottom of the page for the links. I'd be more than willing to do an interview with any that were interested. As for Lee doing an interview, that would be perfect. He actually has the perfect radio voice.
