cpl36996 91 Posted April 21, 2011 I don't know if this question has being posted before, but I have noted that many ladies in the lifestyle wear rings on diferent fingers. Is there any meaning for this, like sending a signal to others in the lifestyle or is just a fashion statement??...Hmmmm??? Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted April 21, 2011 This message is, "I'm wearing a ring on a different finger." Quote Share this post Link to post
Alura 2,775 Posted April 21, 2011 I've never heard of rings meaning anything. My wife wore them on most of her fingers. Her message might have been, "My rings are the same size as the fingers they're on." I think finger size was her deciding factor. Alura Quote Share this post Link to post
JustAskJulie 2,595 Posted April 21, 2011 I wear rings on several fingers. My wedding ring is on the usual wedding ring finger, other than that the rings are on the fingers they fit and that I think they look best on. Quote Share this post Link to post
slevin 1,374 Posted April 21, 2011 One thing to keep in mind is that some Orthodox churches put the wedding rings on the right hand. This is very common in Greece, the Balkans and Eastern Europe. It sounds like you meant wearing many rings, but I thought I'd point out the Orthodox difference Quote Share this post Link to post
divenaked 325 Posted April 21, 2011 As long as she doesn't have a ring on "that" finger, she won't hurt you....lol Quote Share this post Link to post
LFM2 1,482 Posted April 22, 2011 I wouldn't have even thought that wearing a ring on a different finger would have meant a thing except that maybe she liked jewelry. I wouldn't look too deeply into this. Maybe she just like rings. Quote Share this post Link to post
JustAskJulie 2,595 Posted April 27, 2011 I just read somewhere this last week that one of the many "myths" about how to identify a swinger is that supposedly we wear our wedding rings on the opposite (right) hand. Quote Share this post Link to post
Alura 2,775 Posted April 27, 2011 Everyone in Europe must be swingers. Alura I just read somewhere this last week that one of the many "myths" about how to identify a swinger is that supposedly we wear our wedding rings on the opposite (right) hand. Quote Share this post Link to post
LFM2 1,482 Posted April 28, 2011 Ok... So if I put a pineapple flag in my yard, wear my ring on the other hand, wear a thumb ring (along with about a thousand other things) someone will finally notice I'm a swinger??? Quote Share this post Link to post
JsWife 49 Posted April 29, 2011 Never heard this before, but recently Hubby and I have decided not to wear our wedding rings unless it's for work/professional reasons (going to the doctor, being around our "vanilla friends", etc). Not wearing our wedding rings gives us a sense of dating and also allows for some free-er feeling of flirting with others and even though we are together when we don't wear them, the flirting is reciprocated because they aren't immediately put off by the "rings". Even when there's absolutely no flirting going on with others, it's still a sense of our days of "dating" and so the mindset is a little more "fun". Call it odd if you will, but we all have to find the little things that work for us and get our motors revving. Quote Share this post Link to post
cpl36996 91 Posted April 29, 2011 I made the comment because I have noticed this with women in the clubs or even on porn movies, hmmm Quote Share this post Link to post
DaggersNRoses 271 Posted April 16, 2013 My wedding ring is where it belongs, my other rings are where I put them. This means they are where I am wearing them. He he. The Rose Quote Share this post Link to post
DigginIt 1,132 Posted April 16, 2013 So there are 'urban legands' out there about the wearing of jewelry in different spots that are meant to be hidden signals such as a bracelet on the ankle (not an anklet) and other things like that. I can't recall where I read it but I did read it at one time. Black rings, symbols, etc. We would never wear things that would give away our secret identity although Mrs. Diggs does wear a black ring...coincidence, we swear! You wouldn't see Batman wearing a bat ring, lol, because we don't want people asking us why. Then we would have to have an answer Quote Share this post Link to post
DaggersNRoses 271 Posted April 16, 2013 If they figure out our secret identities then they might find the cave too. Oh no! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
JustAskJulie 2,595 Posted April 16, 2013 The problem with any of these is that anyone can do them without realizing they are doing them. Our original wedding rings were black and after we bought new ones (he'd broken his) I still wore my original one on the right hand (coincidence was that I was actually a swinger). funcoupledayton 2,708 Posted April 17, 2013 There was also a movement to wear your wedding rings on the right hand to support marriage equality (right to gay marriage). I did it for a couple months. The only one who noticed was my father-in-law who supports gay marriage, but does not support women expressing themselves via a sacred symbol . It did not go well. I believe the website, Kasidie is promoting and selling the black rings. Quote Share this post Link to post
sparkstar 128 Posted April 21, 2013 He takes his marriage ring off for work as he works in the construction industry. He keeps it on all other times. I always keep my marriage ring on its correct finger, even when im with another man without my husband present. For us, the marriage ring shows to others that we are spoken for in the sense that our hearts and love are for only us and no one else, so whoever we individually have sex with will know no emotional feelings can develop for them no matter how amazingly more better they might be in bed. SAMnTINA 362 Posted April 21, 2013 Don't know about for the other ladies but for my wife it means never enough trips to the Jeweler. Quote Share this post Link to post

shy_couple 460 Posted April 26, 2013 Really? I have heard for several years that especially thumb rings have quite significant meaning when women wear them. I have heard that thumb ring on either thumb (also wearing white pants) means you are into anal sex. Also heard that right thumb means you are bi and left thumb is for anal. Don't know if either are true but seems more people accept that a ring on either thumb or white pants means open to anal sex. Quote Share this post Link to post
