TheSwingerSet 205 Posted April 26, 2011 I know this has been discussed before, but in a chat the other night we ran across a guy who takes it to a whole new level, not just shaving/trimming/waxing but he goes the whole 9 yards with facials, pedicures, manicures, hair color to get rid of the gray and everything else you can imagine. How many of you guys go to this level of manscaping? K Quote Share this post Link to post
iceman7570 40 Posted April 26, 2011 Pedicures are nice the mrs. usually gets me at least one a yr. But would have to say most guys probably aint gonna be that high maintenance.....just my thoughts......... Quote Share this post Link to post
Fundamental Law 2,903 Posted April 26, 2011 Not our extremes. We think trimming excess body hair, shaving where preferred, ensuring that nails are short and filed is about right. As for hair color, this was not a problem for Yul Brynner, Telly Savalas, or me. (laughs) Quote Share this post Link to post
LFM2 1,482 Posted April 26, 2011 Wow... I've never known anyone to go to that extreme, either. Quote Share this post Link to post

How many of you guys go to this level of manscaping? K My wife got me to try a pedicure for the first the other day. It was ok but I felt weird until a father & son were seated beside me and they got one too. I have tried hair coloring in the past and the color has always looked fake to me. I have recently with entering the lifestyle took to shaving my private areas and I am still researching the best routes for this to be problem free. I don't see me doing waxing though, and a facial, I doubt that too. I don't think there is anything wrong with it all, I'm just not sure I want to spend that much time on it. iceman7570 40 Posted April 27, 2011 As far as hair coloring goes, mine is going gray. That is when I am not doing the shave thing. Told the Mrs. I wanted to let it grow out but I would not color it to hide the gray and even our kids are saying, "Dad you need to color your hair." The Mrs. tells them to let me be cause they don't realize some older men pay big money to have hair like mine. So if it's gray that is what it is. If it falls out, that is what it will be. Doesn't matter to me cause I am myself with it or with out it. Quote Share this post Link to post
iceman7570 40 Posted April 27, 2011 P.S. After doing my yrs in the Corps I sure cant see my self in a prissy salon getting a facial and other things done to myself, not saying I wouldnt if the mrs wanted to do it together I just might with her but it still pushing my comfort......... SsHubby 56 Posted April 27, 2011 I will say this though. I want the salon's chair in my living room. High backed reclining massaging chair with a whirlpool foot bath, & arm rests. I could sit in that pretty comfortably. Of course when I got the pedicure the other day, my wife said no to florescent yellow nail polish! Quote Share this post Link to post
JandKinBoise 859 Posted April 27, 2012 I liked to keep everything down there short but not shaved. That sucks, not sure how anyone can do it. The wife has requested that I stop all manscaping since she likes a "manly and natural" crotch. I actually asked her to stop shaving as well and I have to say that I kind of like it. She has really light colored hair so she is still "on display" but with hair. None of our guys have complained, although who would, she's so hot. Maybe hair will make a comeback. As for hair color, this was not a problem for Yul Brynner, Telly Savalas, or me. (laughs) Yep, this is where hubby falls on the spectrum. Interestingly, we met a "friend" for play once and his toenails were painted blue...I thought it was cute, but hubby thought it was very odd. He said he had a "budding nail tech" for a daughter. We don't think we've met anyone that does as much grooming as you wrote about. Quote Share this post Link to post
D&D 362 Posted May 1, 2012 I do some manscaping... Shaved body except a small strip. Shaved face except for a soul patch/goatee.(matches the strip down below.) The facial hair can elicit some funny reactions. One potential playmate told me she couldnt deal with the soul patch because it reminded her of her son in law. She said that was his "distinguishing feature so i was plain out of luck." A couple other women told me it was ticklish in all the right places. Actually the shaving is pretty quick now, but the first time took a while! I also color the sides of my hair and my goatee. Otherwise the goatee is pure white and hair on top is dark brown. It's relaxing to get the hair done, my wife and I do it together and the guy who does us is a riot. (no pun intended). Haven't done facial, pedi, or manicure but I can totally understand the social aspect. In the end I'm just as vain as anyone else!!! Quote Share this post Link to post
sunbuckus 3,569 Posted November 20, 2015 I thought this was an interesting topic! Mr. Sun doesn't do much of the manscaping mentioned but I know a playmate that told me he had his eyebrows waxed every so often to keep them nice and neat. And I thought he waxed his chest when we first started playing with him but he told me it was naturally that smooth. Quote Share this post Link to post
kikonkrome 844 Posted November 20, 2015 I get waxed pretty regularly, sometimes it's my entire body. Since I have been swinging though I stopped doing my chest, legs and arms, it's nice to feel the difference between the boys and the girls. I definitely get the eyebrows waxed and trimmed, really as you get older it makes a big difference. Older guys with big bushy eyebrows are not a turn on. I also get a facial once or twice a year. Not really sure what he does but is definitely makes the skin clearer and neater. I got a mani/pedi once and am not really sure I would repeat it. I can keep my own fingers trimmed and neat. ZoDee 81 Posted November 23, 2015 Ok, Well I started with Laser Hair Removal on my Pubes about 6 years ago. Figured it matched the rest of my body better & was over shaving & waxing. Can add to that Laser Skin rejuvenation around the cheeks over the last few months. The latter is fringe benefit of MrsZ's business, so get to have some freeby's, otherwise it's something I'd probably not bother with. (PS, Think it could be MrsZ's Cougar tendencies showing......)
