How often do you see bareback play at swinger clubs?

To preface this, we haven't been to any clubs (there are none here). We have been to hotel and house parties though.

 

But we were wondering how often do people see bareback play at a club? I would imagine between spouses it's seen fairly often, but is it common to see between non spouses?

 

We were talking with a friend who mentioned that he saw some bareback play this past weekend at a house party, and he said it was the first time he'd seen it at a party. So we thought about it, and neither of us could recall seeing it between non spousal/boyfriend/girlfriend pairings either.

 

Yet it seems that a lot of people's private pics contain bareback play, so obviously it does happen.

We've been to clubs a handful of times. I don't spend a whole lot of time watching what others are doing, but it seemed to me condom use seemed to be the norm. A higher incidence of males voluntarily wrapping their package than in our private encounters.

 

At the house parties we've been to, Mrs always has to tell the fellas to play safe. Heck, she's even had to provide the condoms. Maybe a different vibe at the parties since everyone at least knew the hosts, and maybe expectations were relaxed?

I havent seen any bareback play at house parties, but I still think some of the "other people will see it" idea comes into play. It could be happening though, some angles dont really allow much for viewing, and Im not that big on voyeurism.

I saw it more in South America than I have here in North America. I guess it depends on the people involved. I went to a private party in Cartagena Colombia and out of the 60 people there, I'd say 10% used protection. That would be a common % across the board when I was in South America.

 

In some cases couples who knew each other well never used protection at all.

 

I am all about safety. I have an auto-immune illness (lupus) and I don't take chances, my immune system can't fight the common cold, let alone anything worse than that. Even when we are involved with a couple, he practices it as well, as he knows the risks are not worth it.

I believe that it is "situational", meaning that most people that we know that go "bareback" only do so with people that they REALLY REALLY trust. Most of the time condoms are a must.

The majority of people we encounter at clubs and parties like to play bareback. We find it surprising. We do use condoms and find that most people are respectful of our choice. I was listening to a swinger podcast and they were saying they wouldn't play with couples who didn't use condoms all the time. If that were the case around here, that couple would have us and maybe one other couple to choose from!

 

Our online profiles list condoms as required, but we still have people who contact us and try to convince us not to use them. We just tell them we're not compatible if they can't use condoms. In person it hasn't been an issue.

At the club we used to go to quickie intercourse was common on the dance floor. It was always done bareback. The ejaculation load was usually taken internally, at least in preference to getting it sprayed all over your legs. At couples parties condoms are the norm. However, bareback is the norm at adult theaters, dogging sites, and gloryholes. It appears the more anonymous/spontaneous the sex, the higher the propensity for bareback. Bareback is sweet. I think I can please a lady while using protection, as I could without. If I lose sensation because of a condom, I can live with that. I know me and my wife do mostly soft swing and of course don't use protect with each other but that might give everyone else the idea that we have traded and go bareback. We also prefer bare and generally do that when we are playing at home or at a house party. But it depends on who we are playing with and how well we know them. There is always a risk and you just have to manage that in relation to the pleasure of going bare. Sometimes it seems worth the risk, sometimes not so much.
