Do glasses turn off men?

Recommended Posts

I love the way women look with glasses. I am totally turned on by the hot librarian or businesswoman look!

Okay, I was just curious...I haven't really seen one ad where a woman was wearing glasses. I'm not going to stop wearing glasses (contacts make me squeamish and Lasik is expensive) but does it turn men off? If anyone who does wear glasses, does it sometimes get in the way of spontaneity (because you have to take them off in the heat of the moment)?

Some women can wear it well and actually be more sexy wearing glasses, others not so much

It depends on the woman, the glasses and how she presents herself otherwise.

For example, to me an extroverted woman in glasses is hot, an introverted women in glasses, not really

A women in glasses dresses monochromatic or Bohemian with some cool glasses, smokin hot, a women dressed casually or conservative, not

One look I don't care for is the trend of African American women wearing squared frames with wide stems. This may be a regional trend but in some circles in the upper Midwest it has become sort of a uniform accessory. IMHO it creates an look of approachability.....but as the say, it's all in the eyes of the beholder

Hmmm, what an interesting opinion. I consider myself both introverted and dressed casually/conservative. :) But as you pointed out, different strokes for different folks.

Please take no offense. I do see the appeal of the reserved sophisticated look glasses can aid in achieving as well... I just also think glasses, if you have to wear them, are a really cool accessory for dressing a bit funky or eclectic.

No offense taken. :) I can see what draws/doesn't draw you to certain looks. When I first started this post, I thought the look of glasses would turn off the majority of the men and I wouldn't be able to find any playmates. As with everything else, it just depends on the male and what he finds attractive or not. Sometimes someone can pull off glasses and sometimes they just happen to have picked an unbecoming pair.
