What kind a fellow brings a very hot young woman to a swingers club and then spends most of the night watching basketball, while the poor young lady is left to sit alone?

 

Seriously, I saw this very thing last night. We went to our club for the first time in ages (had a lot of fun). There, in the pool room, was a very attractive young woman playing half a game of pool while her partner sat glued to the TV, flipping channels and cursing at the basketball game. We saw the poor young lady throughout the night, sitting alone while her fellow watched basketball. (I would have gone over and talked to her, but you could practically see the word "DRAMA" hanging the air over them and I didn't have the energy for it.)

 

Really, why would anyone do that to a lovely young lady?

Why would any club manager have a television in any room that could even be tuned to a basketball game? I thinks sports bars should have agreements with swing clubs. The swing clubs will not allow sports channels; the sports bars will not allow sex channels.

Yep. Especially if it's a "big game" (and they're all big games nowadays it seems) or during bowl season. The ladies are almost as bad as the gentlemen.

I take it you are not a sports fan? We quite enjoy the games together - we just wouldn't go to the club if there was a game that was so important that we had to watch it there when we should be enjoying sexy time with each other or our friends.

A distinction should be made here. At a swingers' club, a sports event on TV would be out-of-place. At a meet-n-greet event, where people's attentions might be divided and socialization is the order of the evening, basketball, baseball, football, soccer, golf, or full-contact badminton would be welcome.

We were at a swingers club for a Whitesox world series game in 2005. I'd have NOT been happy if the TV didn't have the game on.

 

There is nothing wrong with having sports on, especially during playoff times. One persons bad behavior should not dictate TV policy. Personally I'd rather have sports on then the usual "meh" porn they usually play. If I want to watch bad porn I can do that at home too. It doesn't put me in the mood either.

 

Now for me Sex > Sports, (I almost had a ticket for that Whitesox game in 2005, and I was VERY torn), but lets all relax a bit about the sports. Someone was a jerk at a swingers club. This is nothing new or novel.

Well to be honest I've done this. Especially if I don't see any women I'd be interested in. I don't need to be attached to her hip the entire time. She can go play or flirt. I'll spend time with her while we are there or I might want to go talk to one of my guy friends a bit.

 

I wish they did show sports at the place we go to. All they show is porn which really doesn't interest me. There's got to be something for a guy to do to alleviate boredom.

This right here. We can't just assume he doesn't care about her or whatnot. Who are we to judge what they do or how they spend their free time. I am guilty of doing this quite a bit, but not with a TV or sports. I bring my 3DS and play monster hunter when we're out or whatever to alleviate boredom. One can only talk about so much before there is nothing left to talk about in one sitting. We shouldn't jump the gun and assume that he was neglecting her. And the truth of life is, it doesn't matter how gorgeous or attractive a girl is, some guy is going to be tired of her shit. OP also said there was drama in the air so I 'm pretty sure that saying is not far off the mark.

Let's get real about this. When was the last time you were at a club that the real conversation and action started when you walked in at 9 p.m. Almost every club we have been to people don't get started til after 11 p.m. So unless the game ran late it is over by the time the Club's action picks up. She should have mingled while he was watching the game.
