SexyRedmondCpl 128 Posted September 7, 2014 We were surfing the swinging sub-reddit, and saw some folks talking about a site called Quiver. It looks like it's relatively new. Their Twitter account would seem to suggest that they've been around since May-ish. Right now, it's free to join. We've just signed up for an account, MUSEANDHERARTIST. We love the interface so far. But, as was mentioned in another thread recently, quantity/quality of members is a much bigger part of the experience. Anyone have good or bad opinions of Quiver yet? How easy or hard is it to meet folks relative to other sites? Quote Share this post Link to post
PB&J 1,086 Posted September 7, 2014 Filling out our profile right now- it sure looks nice! We'll have to see how many locals sign up before we know if it's worth our while in the long run. Just trying to figure out how to get verified... ok, now I just need to wait for PB to get back from the nude beach to take our selfie! Quote Share this post Link to post
SwingSetWife 444 Posted September 8, 2014 Okay just signed up (hope you are getting something out of referring members...?). It is the lovechild of match and facebook. lol. I will keep it in my back pocket until it becomes more popular. Quote Share this post Link to post
SexyRedmondCpl 128 Posted September 8, 2014 Okay just signed up (hope you are getting something out of referring members...?) I don't think they have an affiliate program yet, and we wouldn't want to take that away from the board at any rate. But we do get something out of it in the form of more sexy people to meet and play with on a platform that's a bit more modern. Quote Share this post Link to post
newhorizonsclub 15 Posted September 10, 2014 I use quiver both for the business I do marketing for (New Horizons in Everett WA) and for a personal account. It's by far the most well designed site for swingers, though it is still very new with a small member base. It has a lot more promise than the majority of sites I see these days though and the people who are on it (while few) are all very involved and post/reply often Quote Share this post Link to post
SexyRedmondCpl 128 Posted September 11, 2014 That's too funny. We were members of NH until we moved to Boston a few years ago. So, our initial impressions are, as yours, that the use base is small but growing. The interface is slick and modern. Like SwingSetWife said above, a mix of dating and social networking. It reminds me a bit of Kasidie in that regard (but free!). Signing up was easy. A lot of questions to answer about play preference and such, which was a bit slow with having to decipher the icons. But once all our info was in, the profile looked pretty solid. We had a hard time figuring out how to get "verified", but the process was fast and easy. If you're stuck there, the link is to the right of the main feed on the home page. It is still small, but we're excited to see where they go with it. Quote Share this post Link to post
LifeErotique 18 Posted September 19, 2014 We love Quiver. We signed up when they first started, and have made some good contacts there. It does seem like there's a bit of overlap with the more established sites. But, hey, as long as it's free... We'll send you a message, SexyRedmondCpl Quote Share this post Link to post
AdventurousP 18 Posted December 31, 2014 Just signed up (the username is adventurous if you're curious), and it certainly is pretty. It looks like there aren't too many people near us yet, but there are quite a few a couple of hours up the road. Definitely worth hanging on to for when it gets bigger. PLASTICFANGS 17 Posted January 28, 2015 We signed up for it, but there just aren't many couples in our area yet. The admins seem a lot friendlier than most other sites. They are supposed to be rolling out version 2.0 next week. I hope it does well. Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,024 Posted February 8, 2015 I like the layout, their system and the concept upon which it is built. There even seem to be profiles from our local area. This Web site seems to has definitely possibilities. Quote Share this post Link to post
Brad145 58 Posted February 8, 2015 I'm not a fan of the size of the pictures on the home page, seeing closeups of people's junk doesn't do it for me, and there doesn't seem to be a way to change to a more pleasing list with thumbnails. I think I'm spoiled by intothelifestyle.com Quote Share this post Link to post
sunbuckus 3,567 Posted February 8, 2015 I haven't delved into it very much but I did sign us up. I'll have to find the time to finish filling out our profile but from what I've seen, it looks nice. Quote Share this post Link to post
sunbuckus 3,567 Posted February 11, 2015 Okay, now that I've filled out our profile and have done a little searching, poking, and prodding...it's quite modern and slick! I like the design and the coding of popping up someone's profile when you click on their picture but it doesn't take you to a new page but just a pop up. From there you can look at the profile then easily "X" it and resume where you left off previously. Mr. Sun and I are in agreement that we like it a lot better in terms of looks and possibly functionality than several of the other ad profile sites that we are on. Of course, the downside is that there aren't a lot of members yet so if you are looking for numbers, other sites that are more established will obviously have the numbers. Another thing, and this might be a local thing, I noticed is that there are a lot of younger and "prettier" people on Quiver. I don't know if that's just because the younger crowd might be more up-to-date on what's new and gravitates toward the shiny, slick, modern looking sites versus older, blah sites or if Quiver is geared more toward the younger crowd in general. But it might be different in other locales. Quote Share this post Link to post
Teton69 32 Posted February 12, 2015 Thanks to this post we signed up as well. Love the look and ease to use it. Now its a matter of more local people signing up. Quote Share this post Link to post
firestoners 15 Posted November 9, 2015 How many of you have been using Quiver (www dot quiver dot us)? Seems like a really strong alternative to the big sites (SLS, Kasidie, etc) with some interesting features like a Social feed and profile verification. How long have you been on Quiver? Have you hooked up with any other members? Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,024 Posted November 9, 2015 Haven't been there in about six months. Looks hopeful but they still lack what any successful hook-up site needs: members. I'll check it out again and post a report. Quote Share this post Link to post
sunbuckus 3,567 Posted November 9, 2015 We have a Quiver account but only check it when we get an email from them. I'm not sure how long we've been on Quiver but we just haven't gotten into as much as SLS. Quote Share this post Link to post
GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted November 9, 2015 We are on Quiver, too. Been there for several months. It seems like the membership is starting to build up a bit now, and there are several members in our area where we have both checked out each other's profiles, and in a couple of cases, written back and forth a bit. I appreciate that the folks there are trying to give people an up-to-date Web experience, but the site renders rather slowly on my iPad, which is my primary window into the Web. And by the way, welcome to SwingersBoard, firestoners! We're glad you joined us, and hope to see you more around the forums. Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,024 Posted November 29, 2015 Haven't been there in about six months. Looks hopeful but they still lack what any successful hook-up site needs: members. I'll check it out again and post a report.Checked in today. Appears that the membership has been building, although most of them are much younger than we are. So decided to send them the picture thay want for becoming "certified". Will let you know how that turns out. Quote Share this post Link to post
