Why are there so few male pics on SLS profiles?

I guess I can call this a pet peeve but, more so I just don't understand why couples have a dozen pictures of the wife but none of the husband. You would figure that they as a couple would like to meet another couple so isn't half the equation missing? Would you be willing to meet another couple where you had no idea what the male half looked like?

I understand your frustration completely. If we request a face picture of the male half and do not get one, we move on. We both have equal amount of pictures of both of us on our profile and we are definitely in this as a couple...we are looking for the same in others. If you feel like even going the extra step to ask for pictures of the male half is too much, just move on to the next couple. I know this limits the pool of potential profiles but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to keep sane.

We've noticed the same thing, we even went as far as saying in our profile that we would like to see pics of both halves of a couple. Still get mail from those with only female pics, makes it pretty easy to tell they didn't read our profile so we just move on. We share your pet peeve.

No, I don't have a problem with going the extra step and requesting a pic of the male half if we are somewhat interested. I guess I just don't understand why it is done so much even with couples who have been in the lifestyle for some time. Like you we would never meet with a couple where a picture request was denied.

 

Also, as an add on, why do people put pictures up from 10 years or 30 lbs ago?

I really do not have an answer to this. But I do have a story. After receiving an inquiry from one of those profiles having pictures of the woman's boobs and ass from dozens of different angles but no picture of the guy, we asked "why no picture of your guy." The response was nearly unbelievable. "It's because I'm the mayor of XXXXXX." Only he did not answer using Xs. He actually named a local municipality. So much for annonimity.

It's a common complaint and like others here, no pics of both participants causes me to move along. I don't mind asking, but we shouldn't have to!

Back when I was part of a couple I found this frustrating too. That is why I prefer meeting face to face. I do not hook up with couples on-line. Atleast if there is no chemistry while at a party, you can move on to a more interesting couple.

We include a couple photo on our "dating" sites, but that is not what this is. In this case, I do 90% of our postings, bring hubby in only when a male view is needed or when in a conversation about the topic, he expresses something cute or insightful,so I posted my photo.

Since we are a couple posting we post both of us. We figure if people are looking at profiles on a swing site then hopefully they are there for the same thing as us. To have fun and enjoy ourselves. It makes no sense to us to check out profiles from couples that show the girl half only. Black out the eyes, chop off the head, etch but do something with the male half of a couple.

We have pictures of both of us on our profile. Even the hottest woman loses some of her heat if the guy is a troll. If the Ms. isn't happy, then neither of us are happy.

Hmmmm...... We agree with the group so far even though our profile pics are unbalanced with far more pics of Mrs Shy. Will say that on our SLS preview page does have pics of us as a couple fully clothed to get an idea of body type. Far more suggestive pics of her. We like to see the guys but really we want to see body type and if the guy is heavily tatted, hairy, big or small. But guys aren't sexy. Too many male pics are of their dong, trying to flex muscles, or suck in their gut. The ones who try for sexy poses, many times come off looking gay or at least like bad Glamor Shots.

 

So please include pics of him but it's OK to show more of her;)

I find it confusing when people say "men aren't as sexy as the women" as a reason for the lopsided pics. Men are sexy to straight and bisexual women...well, at least they are when they're not hairy, wart-covered trolls with decayed teeth. Which I assume they are when they won't come off with a face pic

Granted that this is our opinion, but we will point to history to support it. There are far fewer works of art dedicated to the male form than the female form. Not that there are none, just far less.

Why do people post unflattering pictures of themselves? Out of focus, poorly framed, cannot see the person. And I do not want to see close ups of genitalia. We presume that you have them.
