Shorecpl4u 79 Posted February 27, 2015 I'm not real hairy but, have it in the usual places. When I hit my forties my chest hair was graying quite a bit and I was a little self conscious about it. Was dating at the time and just didn't like the way it looked. Couldn't see the point in shaving it because it would look a little odd. So I tried a clipper and trimmed all my chest down to about a quarter of an inch and it looked a lot better. It's a more natural look and you don't notice the grey that much at all. Give it a try think you'll like it. Quote Share this post Link to post
JustAskJulie 2,595 Posted February 27, 2015 I don't know why guys get so hung up on gray hair. I personally think (and have always felt) that gray body hair is kinda sex. Leave it be, go natural, you'll probably be surprised that it doesn't phase the ladies one bit. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Hell, she makes me keep my facial hair because it's the one place I grow a bit of the silver. That being said, OP, if it bugs YOU, then by all means, groom yourself to your satisfaction. As far as doing it for the ladies, just remember, for every woman that doesn't care for gray hair, there's another one out there that thinks it is quite hot. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted February 28, 2015 I'm in total agreement. Gray is nice, distinguished, even as a sweater and way better than bald. Quote Share this post Link to post
JandKinBoise 859 Posted February 28, 2015 It's our body, it's not always up to us how well we accept changes. If there is something we can do to feel more comfortable in our own skin, I say do that. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
wearetheone1967 40 Posted April 8, 2016 The graying I don't mind.. It is that it is growing so long. My chest hair kinda weirds me out with how long it has gotten. I had to go up a shirt size. Just kidding, but it is really noticeable to me... Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,068 Posted April 8, 2016 I've had grey hair since I was 14 due to a skin condition (mostly the only noticeable outward showing thing has been grey hair) so this is something I've ALWAYS dealt with...and I've found that some women don't have a problem with it and others think its sexy. Win-win. Long hair is more of a problem, but like you already stated, I just keep all of the hair below my head mowed short. Quote Share this post Link to post
LullabyCple 17 Posted June 21, 2016 I am a very hairy guy. I can be quite self conscious of it at times. When reading ad's there are quite a few that don't seem to like hairy men. Overall I have gotten over much of my self consciousness because my lady seems to like it. She has been a wonderful boost to my self confidence. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
kikonkrome 844 Posted June 22, 2016 Win-win. Long hair is more of a problem, but like you already stated, I just keep all of the hair below my head mowed short. so here is my take. After a certain age you need to at least trim it. It keeps growing and gets really thick. Gray is not so much the problem, but old guy hair out of everywhere not fun. Trim it too short and it's a bit prickly for your partner, only for a few weeks not the end of the world. We as a couple swing between hair and fully waxed. It makes for variety. For playing with partners I go for full wax, nice to be the one with surprises!! Quote Share this post Link to post
