SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted March 4, 2015 A new profile appeared at a swingers' Web site. It starts out like this, "My wife isn't into this but I have an open marriage and I want to meet single females and couples." But here's the part that bugs me. It's a couple's profile. It has this guy's height, weight and age. It also shows a gal's height, weight and age. Well, if she's not "into it", why give everybody her vital statistics? Nobody's going to be meeting her. It seems like a declaration of "open marriage" make this guy feel entitled. Am I making too much of this? 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
CB&DD 219 Posted March 4, 2015 Not sure how to take that either. Maybe it's their strange way of showing that she's on-board with his playing solo. Only thing that comes to mind. Curious to see others thoughts on this. Quote Share this post Link to post
N&G 207 Posted March 4, 2015 I see that kind of profile all the time. Sometimes the profile even has female pictures. This is the opposite of the single female profile that only plays as a couple. Whether you believe that he is actually in an open marriage is up to you. I wonder how fast the guy would disappear if you say that you need to talk with his wife. It seems lately that every couple profile that contacts us is the guy looking to play alone or when you leave your phone number they are never heard from again. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,068 Posted March 5, 2015 That's what I thought of as soon as I started reading this: The thread about single females that only actually played as a couple. Same thing applies here. If you are swinging single, you are NOT a couple. IF you are swinging as a couple, you are NOT a single. Truth in advertising... Quote Share this post Link to post
tribbles 490 Posted March 5, 2015 I'd guess the guy wants everyone to know he is married so has a couple profile cuz he thinks of himself as part of a couple. In his mind, he is not single. Quote Share this post Link to post
Shorecpl4u 79 Posted March 5, 2015 I have seen this also. One thing that might make some sense is rather than create a new profile they merely revamp their existing one. However, I still think if you are going too recreate your profile it should be accurate. Quote Share this post Link to post
divenaked 325 Posted March 5, 2015 By having a couple profile it allows him to see and contact couples who have single males blocked. This was my first inclination. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

True but he may not understand the blocking system. If he doesn't know what he did, maybe explain nicely? If he does know what he did...report his profile. Quote Share this post Link to post
M1F2KTJ 473 Posted March 14, 2015 It may be that his wife isn't enthusiastic about it but my be interested and he posted her statistics just in case. I think you are making too much out of it and are too critical. A lot of people, especially newbie swinger, sharing curious don't have the experience articulating themselves as the more experienced rest of us are. Give the newbies a break. I've had some great experiences with "under educated"/"over educated", "lower"/"upper class" people of all shapes , sizes and colors. Quote Share this post Link to post
