SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted March 15, 2015 My wife and I were invited to a house party and it's host has a long set of rules. We were a little leary. Now that we have attended one of his house parties we appreciate every one of them. It has opened our eyes and I believe these rules will become the model for our own house parties. * Ladies choice -- any guy, single or married, who display frustration or testosterone overload (starts grabbing ass, walks into a bedrooms unannounced, touches before being solicited, generally displays crankiness owing to the fact that thirty minutes have passed without being laid) will be dropped from the invitation list. * All bedroom doors will be open -- owing to the fact that all guests are expected to behave negates the need for closed doors. Also prevents some sexteginarian professor disappearing into a bedroom with his nineteen-year-old student and making everybody wonder if it is going to be necessary to take a fire ax to the door to rescue one of them. * No standing at the door to leer. You can come into the room to watch but only if you have been invited by the room's occupants. * Not standing in-line to be "next". * Ladies choice regarding penetration or not penetration, condoms or no condoms, toys or no toys. * Soft swap OK. * Nobody younger than 40 years of age * Guests arrive at noon for social hour (mandatory, doors lock at 1pm). Guests who have food to prepare can arrive as early as 10 am. Play can begins at the end of the social hour. Party finished at 10pm (This accommodates one particular need of the 40++ members). * Cameras and cell phones will be collected at the door. * No door fee; no "tip jar". * Only people who are members of the SLS group can attend -- you are not allowed to bring other friends, other acquaintance or hitchhikers. * Anybody who signs up, does not show and does not send a cancellation note will be dropped from the invitation list. A personal footnote: I am flattered to know that I would become a "choice" of so many ladies. I'm exhausted. 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,068 Posted March 16, 2015 We would attend if invited! Having rules like this set the boundaries and expectations for the evening letting everyone know what is and isn't acceptable. We like that. Quote Share this post Link to post
GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted March 17, 2015 Hey, guys! Those are some interesting rules! Sounds like they favor getting down to business quickly. How do you think those rules would work for couples who are new to the invitee list, who may not know everyone well? BTW, SW_PA_Couple, we were just looking back over the conversation that we had with you and Mrs. SW_PA_Couple a few months ago about your house parties. We wish we were closer- it could be fun to experience one of your events! Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted March 17, 2015 Hey, guys! Those are some interesting rules! Sounds like they favor getting down to business quickly. How do you think those rules would work for couples who are new to the invitee list, who may not know everyone well?Owing only to the fact that Mrs. SW_PA and I experienced it first-hand am I able to report that this party was comfortable for people new to the invitation list. We were new to the list. Two other couples were new to the list. Anybody who felt like simply socializing and making small talk socialized and made small talk. Some of those who were already familiar with the host and his parties paired off pretty quickly and headed into bedrooms. But no couple was left in the front room with only each other to talk to. The reason it worked so well is only speculation. But I strongly suspect that it was mainly owing to the fact that the women decided who was going to pair off with whom. The men had to pack their hormones away until such time as they received an invitation to do the horizontal Mambo. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
asncpl 730 Posted March 21, 2015 We almost exclusively go to private house parties nowadays and these are very good rules. The one party that we are regulars have the rule that the host gives out red wristbands to newbies or those who are there to watch or play with themselves only and do not want to swap. So if they are wearing the red wristbands, other guests are not allowed to ask them to play. It really relieves the nervousness for newbies, and I have seen a few take off the wristbands halfway through the party as they get more comfortable. Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted March 21, 2015 . . . the host gives out red wristbands . . . A great idea! Quote Share this post Link to post
sunbuckus 3,569 Posted March 22, 2015 Great rules except for this one: * Nobody younger than 40 years of age Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted March 22, 2015 Great rules except for this one: * Nobody younger than 40 years of age This rule has a context for this particular private party group. The host and some of his long-time acquaintances feel uncomfortable being in the intimate company of people who look younger than their own children or grandchildren. If the host and his social crowd were younger, this would rule would probably not be applied. My wife and I would not use a rule like this. Our experience tell us that the age range of partygoers is self-regulating. There was once a guy not much older than twenty years who came to one of ours. I believe we scared the shit out of him. He saw a few of the guests in the kitchen comparing the features of their blood-sugar test kits and surgical scars. We never saw nor heard from him again. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
two4youinswva 3,068 Posted March 22, 2015 Our experience tell us that the age range of partygoers is self-regulating. This has been our experience as well, usually with one or two outliers that happen to enjoy the company of a group that is a bit outside their personal age range, either higher or lower. SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted September 19, 2015 We're heading off together tomorrow for another one of these "ladies choice" house parties. The host has dropped his rule regarding no guests under 40. Believe that has something to do with the fact that he has a new girlfriend. Just happy the rule fell away. We have, quite happily, received a lot of invitations this summer. Have not hosted a party of our own recently. It's nice to be treated. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted September 19, 2015 Hey, guys, have fun today at the house party! I have a feeling that you two will keep up very nicely with the rest of the crowd, including those young pups under 40! Teach 'em a lesson or two! And please report back to us on how it goes- I'm curious whether you find the younger folks more fun because they're all youthful and lithe, or less fun because they're inexperienced and less comfortable. We are headed to a non-private party several hours north of us in exotic NJ, with two couples we really like, though we've met/played only once. One of the women is someone I had an especially hot playtime with! Let's compare notes afterwards! Quote Share this post Link to post

One of the women is someone I had an especially hot playtime with! Let's compare notes afterwards! The result of the changed rule will be difficult to assess. Only three couples showed up. Don't know what that was all about. I was determined, however, that this situation not spoil my fun. A new playmate (new to me and new to the lifestyle) whispered into my ear that she had just experienced her first orgasm in more than ten years from just vaginal sex. I took that as a compliment. I thought this was odd but also thought it would be better to not ask how this might have come about. Another good thing is that one of the guests revealed herself as a Swingersboard member (this guest not the ten-year-dry-spell person). I have now met a couple dozen members over a ten year period of time. How was your party? 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

I took that as a compliment. I thought this was odd but also thought it would be better to not ask how this might have come about. Taking that as a compliment sounds about right to me! I imagine that the thrill of having swinger sex for the first time must have contributed to her heightened arousal! Another good thing is that one of the guests revealed herself as a Swingersboard member (this guest not the ten-year-dry-spell person). I have now met a couple dozen members over a ten year period of time. Wow, I hope the identity of this member is revealed! How was your party? We had a great time! The two couples we were planning to meet were there, and we met up with another interesting couple at the party (who, incidentally, will be going on the Bliss Cruise in November, same as us!). The eight of us ended up all heading to a big multi-bed playroom together, and a sexy-good time was had by all! We also had a smokin' hot Round 2 after the party with one of the couples we'd gone to the party with (but didn't happen to play with in the group room). I had been lusting after "Mrs. Round 2" ever since July, when we met and played for the first time! Quote Share this post Link to post

GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted September 20, 2015 Sorry. No worries- I was just curious in case the member is also interested in talking about the party. Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted September 21, 2015 No worries- I was just curious in case the member is also interested in talking about the party. That, esteemed member and friend, would be her prerogative. An added observation. Private parties are more fun than anything. Quote Share this post Link to post
