Knoxville, Tennessee swingers clubs

From SLS, it appears that Knoxville has a ton of lifestyle clubs for a city of its size. Looks like there are 6 or 8 in the surrounding area, whereas cities of a similar size might have just a couple.

 

Does anyone know where all these clubs came from or why there would be so many in a small-midsized city? Anyone have any experience swinging at any of them? I am thinking about going to grad school there, so any information is helpful.
