Playboy TV network reality shows (fake/scripted or real)

Recommended Posts

What do you think of shows like 7 Lives Xposed, Foursome, Swing, and any other shows on Playboy TV. Do you think they are fake or real?

I think some shows are real, like Swing, but many others like 7 Lives Xposed are fake/scripted. I remember one case from the first season of 7 Lives Xposed that Patty's mother went to the house and joined her in the fun. 2-3 episodes later she is fucking Patty's bf/fiance. None of them thought it was a bad idea until they got caught by Patty. Patty is mad at everybody but mostly at her mom and her bf/fiance. At the end of the first season she and Ten broke up.

At that point of the show, I said to myself this gotta be fake like Jerry Springer or something. I get that both mother and daughter could be both bi and that. But sleeping with your own daughter's bf/fiance, come on, if the show was real and that, rules would be establish between them when she got in the house and also it just something you just do not do EVER. You do not fuck your son/daughter gf/wife - bf/husband no matter how open you all are to the lifestyle. It just plain wrong.

We don't take those shows very seriously, except for Swing- and perhaps the new show, Triple Play.

I think there is an element of staging in all of these shows, but I'd like to think that the reactions of the "newbie" participants in Swing and Triple Play are more or less real, even if the situations are contrived. If I were to judge the "reality level" of these shows by how much they resonate with my real-world experience, then I would rate Swing as a fairly real depiction of the way lifestyle couples act. Well, maybe the folks on the show are a little less douchey than one or two lifestyle people I've met...:)

My brother in law was on a 'reality' show and now helps production companies connect with areas that they want to do a reality show. He was told by producers that 'if it could have happened, then its reality!'. They would take shots that happened months earlier and interlace them with scenes from the previous day to 'create' a cohesive story line. Also the people on them, knowing that if something interesting or exciting didn't happen, would create things to get them air time. Heck, people auditioning for MTV's Real World show now announce what 'part' they are trying to get...the sex pot, the instigator, the trouble maker, etc. So IMHO most are not 'real', including Playboy's shows. I do agree with CoupleInMD79 that Swing (I haven't seen 'Triple Play') seems to be more real than most but just knowing that TV cameras are filming changes how people really react.

I know this about 7 Lives Xposed. First, none of the sexual intercourse is real, it's all performed to appear real. Some things are improvised, others are scripted. Many of the regular cast have done soft and hard core porn, before and after their appearance on the show. At least two of the women were call girls. But yes, there were scripts and outlines for stories. After the first season, things appeared increasingly scripted and melodramatic.

We actually know couples who have been on Swing and they're not fake at all. Some of the other shows you mentioned are scripted or guided, but there is still an element of reality. Swing Season 5 is about to begin along with Swing Open House. Definitely not fake.

Just saw some old re-runs of "Foursome" and I saw Kelly Divine in one of the episodes. So I guess "Foursome" is fake/scripted as well.

Well, part of the disappointment at first when watching Swing was the fact Jizelle an Josh (?) of se01e01 had porn movies made & online before the show, removing our naive idea of real amateurs. The show is entertaining enough to watch episodes though.

Sometimes the vetting process is not as thorough as it should be and some newbies have mislead producers as to their level of involvement in the Lifestyle. Ideally couples should have 'some' experience behind them to ensure there will be some action in the show. There is also a lot of behind the scenes action that simply doesn't make it to air. Trying to cut down 20 hours of filming to a 45 minute show can be tough and may not necessarily flow, making it look scripted.

There was a porn actress named Christine something on Foursome also.

BTW, in addition to Nikki and Daniel, the Mrs. and I are big fans of Kimberly and Michael on Swing. Specifically, I have the hots for Kimberly, big time!

Recently I saw old re-run of Playboy "Swing" and saw "Teyha & Stephen" and "Lora and Brett" and both couples both have OnlyFans accounts and a few videos on Pornhub which have dates during 2020. Yes I am award that many places were close and lock down during COVID and I am not sure if they were affected by it. And people need money to make end meat.
But now I am questioning the legitimacy of "Swing". Did they "Playboy" get real people/couple or cam models at that time to do there show

My wife and I are 42, married 19 years. We are not in the lifestyle. She has 1 rule... No anal. Otherwise she is game for whatever I come up with. Not much else is off limits. Toys, Role play, sex swing, BDSM, simulated MFM/Gangbangs, sex machine, etc.

Although we have done some pretty involved and creative role play/simulations... she says she can't imagine doing the above with others for real. If I'm honest, the reality would be a big step for me as well. Yet, I tell her I'm not opposed either.

I have found that my fetish is whatever makes her aroused in new ways. I love the nuances of her sounds and how her body responds to a new sensation.

She says she is perfectly happy with our dynamic. I create the scene and surprise her. I even find myself sounding silly for writing this as if it were a problem.

We are tremendously transparent, collaborative and vocal about every aspect of our lives. But when it comes to discussing fantasies, likes/dislikes, collaborating on role play, etc... my wife shuts down or becomes flippant or gets a "how soon can we get this talk over with?" type vibe. She will say,"I just don't have anything to say."

I don't press her to share more than she wants and there are probably way more layers than can be addressed here.

So I suppose my question is...

Are there couples that have experienced a similar dynamic in their journey and how/in what ways were they able to be more expressive?

I happened across this study today, and it had some very interesting outcomes. The whole study bears reading. To tease you into reading it; "When asked whether they’d ever had various types of multipartner fantasies, just 5% of men and 13% of women had never done so" I.e., 95% of men and 87% of women in the 4k+ member study reported having fantasized about multipartner sexual relations. Wow! I expected it to be above 50%, but not that high.

      Hello
I’m after other peoples thoughts on a topic I have, me and my wife are happily married for 7 years both in our 30s and have great sex together. Now while we have sex we have a bit of fantasy type dirty talk and it’s great now it gets saucy and she says she would fuck someone else and she would even go bareback with them, now some my think I’m crazy but that thought drives my dick wild! Now the other bit of this is when we don’t get in that sexy moment it never gets mentioned, and I honestly think she wouldn’t do it. A little part of me thinks what if she did and how hot it would be seen her do it, now from others experience do you think that it’s just the heat of the moment talk or is it something she does secretly have on her mind?
