slimtrim 15 Posted June 19, 2015 We visited Couples Oasis a couple months ago while in Vegas. We are not high frequency type swingers, but we have been to Trapeze in Atlanta, The Red Rooster, and a few others. The place was clean and had the essential amenities; Dance floor with pole, Bar, Pool Table, Hot Tub and play rooms. But what we were disappointed about was the Host, the guy at the door who takes your money. I called prior to arrival and he informed us that 25 to 45 couples are expected on a Saturday evening. When we arrived, the place looked rather slow, so I asked to see inside and he stood up and said "not until we paid!" We were out for a good time, so we chanced it. Well...now I see why he prohibited us to enter until after we paid, there were only a half dozen couples at most. Like I said, nice enough place, but a little integrity would go a long way. We will try elsewhere next Vegas trip. Quote Share this post Link to post
CB&DD 219 Posted June 19, 2015 Hello and welcome to the site. Guess we were fortunate the night we went to Couples Oasis, there were lots of people there. Quote Share this post Link to post
njbm 2,903 Posted June 19, 2015 That stinks and it has happened to us! We can always play as a couple and no loss for us. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
kikonkrome 844 Posted June 19, 2015 Have other places let you in without paying to 'look around'? We would have probably left the Red Rooster if we had done that when we went there. Again, we were told it was a slow night. Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted June 19, 2015 I believe a host or hostess has a good reason for disallowing people just to "look around". It might be Church Lady on a fishing expedition for sinners or a TV reporter who wants to snoop. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
VegasLee 1,486 Posted June 19, 2015 Honestly I don't any place that lets people in just to look around. Especially here in Vegas that is all we would be doing, give free tours to hundreds of people each night sight seeing. Since our office is connected our membership manager can tell people the exact number of bodies on the premisses and he does often when people ask. I also tell them on the phone what is the "norm", that can be off on any night though. I have had good nights be slow and slow nights turn into the biggest nights we have ever had. Now saying that I believe hosts should be more honest about "what is in there" when they talk to people at the door. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
