The Villages near Orlando

I've heard that this over 55 community near Orlando, Florida is loaded with lifestylers. Truth or rumor? Anyone been there or live there?

We have never been there but we have lifestyle friends who live there for part of the year. They confirm that the stories are essentially true. But they add that this is true for many Florida communities, both open and gated.

I don't know how many residents identify as swingers, but there is certainly a libertine streak that runs through the community.  Here's a thread mentioning The Villages.
