JandKinBoise 858 Posted September 18, 2015 I was reading some old threads and came across one Julie posted a few years ago about pubic hair. I was reminded that the past few lovers we have had asked specifically if the Mrs had a bush and stated they really prefer a natural, or lightly trimmed pussy. I asked her if she would stop shaving for me for awhile and see if the reaction from lovers changed. She grew it out totally wild for about 2 months. During that period we were only seeing one guy, and he really couldn't care less if there was hair or not. When we were heading out to see another guy a couple weeks ago, I noticed right as she got in the hot tub that she had done some serious mowing. She later told me she was just uncomfortable with a hairy crotch and preferred the look and feel of smooth skin there. Anyway, I was curious if there had been a change in attitude about ladies pubic hair. We don't go to clubs or anywhere we could see groups of nude women:sad: Any change? MrDiscover 802 Posted September 18, 2015 Here in the Netherlands, there is a slight change to a bit more acceptance towards hair (pubic & armpits). But in the LS, bold stays the norm. Especially under 30s. Quote Share this post Link to post
tribbles 490 Posted September 18, 2015 We are seeing some with a bit of trimmed hair now. Quote Share this post Link to post
divenaked 325 Posted September 19, 2015 When it comes down to carpet or hardwood, I actually prefer a short shag. I'm not interested in the full blown bush, but would not turn a partner down for having one if we clicked. The one thing I don't like is prickly stubble on my tongue. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

I had actually gotten used to it and learned to work around the stubble. I am fully loving the new 'downy soft' tuft. Quote Share this post Link to post
GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted September 19, 2015 The Mrs. is in a "natural" phase at the moment, with a full bush that is trimmed. She has also had a landing strip, and was fully shaved there for a while. From where I'm standing, her many friends seem happy to spend time with her, regardless of her "hairstyle" down below! As for my experience with women's pubic stylings, I mostly see shaved or very short-trimmed pubic hair. But I admit that I enjoy experiencing a more natural bush when someone has one. It feels "nostalgic" somehow, and the extra scent of the woman with a hairy bush is quite intoxicating! That said, I do appreciate a little bit of trim in the immediate area where my tongue is going to go! Quote Share this post Link to post
cplnuswing 4,713 Posted September 19, 2015 What I wonder is now that the trend appears to be at least somewhat fading among society at large, is how many women did it since it was the thing to do at the time and have discovered that trend or no trend, they just like it better that way and will keep it. My sense is that is a pretty fair number and as a result there has been somewhat of a permanent shift in pubic hair grooming habits. I could be totally wrong on that, but you still see plenty of salons advertising those services so the market is definitely still there. Quote Share this post Link to post
JAPrufrock 588 Posted September 19, 2015 Hate shaving, as my skin gets bumpy and irritated no matter what I do, and the stubble is awful. Tried waxing, really liked it for the first day or two, then the hair started to grow back and despite serious exfoliation, the ingrown hairs were awful. I'm back to my natural state of...natural, kept neatly trimmed, and am happy to hear that some other women are too, and that you guys don't seem to mind. Mr. Prufrock also admitted to me that he prefers hair down there on me, and waxing was expensive! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
asncpl 729 Posted September 19, 2015 I usually go bald in the warmer months and let it grow out in the winter. My experience is most ladies are either bald or trimmed on top, leaving the area around the lips bare. I actually do accept requests if a partner wants me to be bald or grow it out. I just think it's a matter of preference nowadays, and it seems to matter most during oral sex. I have guys tell me they prefer smooth because it's easier (and I can understand that from licking hairy balls) and I also have guys that really get turned on by the musky scent of a full bush. On this point I can be quite accommodating if it means I get better oral sex. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
sunbuckus 3,567 Posted September 19, 2015 For just myself, I prefer to not shave just because I'm lazy. One less thing to take care of! But I have come to acknowledge that a shaved pubic area also feels nice...for the first few hours until stubble comes out. Then I hate it. I'm the rare woman that would rather have penetration than oral sex so if a bush scares men away from doing oral, then I'm fine with that. Quote Share this post Link to post
