Curious618 20 Posted September 24, 2015 Has anyone had any experiences or adventures in Gettysburg Pa.? We often stay in Gettysburg and I found a club there to possibly visit. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
cplnuswing 4,713 Posted September 24, 2015 I can't say that we have, but I'm sure we have some members from that area so maybe they will be able to help you out. I think your options would be a club if there is one in the area, and it sounds like you have found out there is. Or, you could use the Hot Date type feature on one of the swinger personals sites like SLS and see if you could set something up that way. Another way to try to fit some swinging in while traveling is if you have an online profile, then change your location to where you are going to be traveling to. If possible, doing it a little ahead of time would be best probably, but new (or new to them) profiles always get some extra attention. See if you get any good contacts you are interested in, see if you schedules will match up, and then just take it from there and hope for chemistry Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted September 24, 2015 We know of and have been to swingers' clubs in the Gettysburg area, but "in" Gettysburg? That's new. Please tell. Have you found a club there? Quote Share this post Link to post
GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted September 25, 2015 Hello, Curious618! As it happens, we are going to a club not too far from Gettysburg this Saturday! It is called the Cottage. It will be our first visit there. We have heard mixed reviews of the place. Some people have said that the clientele is a bit clique-ish. But we have heard that it's a good facility anyway. We are going with some friends, so we're bringing our own fun people with us! Have you been to the Korral near Hanover? That's not too far from Baltimore, and just over an hour from Woodstock, MD where we live. We like the relaxed atmosphere there, as well as the decent food, and two great hot tubs! The other PA club that we'd like to visit is TJ's, near Harrisburg. We've heard very good things about the facility, including their large Roman hot tub. Quote Share this post Link to post
Curious618 20 Posted September 28, 2015 So how was your adventure to The Cottage? Quote Share this post Link to post
GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted September 28, 2015 So how was your adventure to The Cottage? It was good! The crowd was a little on the light side, but people seemed to be friendly. Several people came up to us to introduce themselves, which was nice. And even though they did not happen to have a host couple "on staff", a very nice couple stepped up to show us around the place. And speaking of the place, the facilities at the Cottage were good! The bar, sit-down area, and dance floor are spacious and inviting. The woman of our couple of friends who came with us to the club joined me in the hot tub, which was clean and good. We liked the fact of having some playrooms near the hot tub. They also have a Sybian room, which we didn't try out (but we may do another time). There are a couple of larger rooms for group play, one of which is also a voyeur room. All in all, we enjoyed our first visit to the Cottage! So, Curious618, is the Cottage the club you were referring to when you said you found a club to visit? Feel free to PM us (or hit us up on SLS) if you're going to be there one day! Quote Share this post Link to post
wfe42 15 Posted September 28, 2015 We are going to Tj's next month, have heard the place is amazing. We would also like to check out The Cottage. Please let us know how your trip goes! Quote Share this post Link to post
GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted September 28, 2015 wfe42, I see that you've just posted for your first time here. Welcome! So, our "trip report" for The Cottage is above ^^^^, and hopefully we'll hear what Curious618 thinks soo. We would love to visit TJ's sometime also, so we'd love to hear your impressions of the place! Have you been to the Korral? We like it there, too! Quote Share this post Link to post
Curious618 20 Posted September 28, 2015 Yes, The Cottage is the club that I found online. I haven't been there physically but was doing some research for possibly a future visit.if you don't mind me asking, what was the age range of people there? Thanks for responding. SW_PA_Couple 4,026 Posted September 28, 2015 If I can step ahead in the line, I will answer that one. The range of ages seems to be 30s through 60s - predominantly 40s. My wife and I like The Cottage for all the reasons cited above, plus if you rent a cabin for a night's stay over, the cabins are nice. The one little thing that bugs my wife is the fact that single guys hang around the hot tub hoping to be given a show or have a chance to grab an ass. Quote Share this post Link to post
GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted September 28, 2015 Curious618, I'd concur with SW_PA_Couple's estimate of the age range, though when us four couples entered the place, we skewed the average age a bit higher! I will confirm that the people there represented a wide range of ages, but no one particularly seemed to be segregating by age. I can also confirm the little issue about the single guy. When the other woman and I were having our little make-out session in the hot tub, a single guy came along and was soaking, at a respectful distance, with us in the hot tub. Then later, when we were heading up to a playroom, there was Mr. Single Guy again, making himself available while keeping a respectful distance. And after we finished up and exited the playroom, Mr. Single Guy was around again. His presence (omnipresence?) did end up causing us to adjust our plans slightly. We were thinking about playing in the open on one of the beds right next to the hot tub, but my play partner did not want to run the risk of an uninvited person joining in. That might have encouraged her to also eschew the idea of playing in the voyeur room upstairs. And toward the end of the evening, as I was popping back down to the hot tub area to grab my clothes and get dressed, there was Mr. Single Guy, laying on the bed near the "glory hole" room, alone and stroking himself, with a lazily hopeful expression on his face at the sight of another human being! So, Curious618, what age range are you hoping to find at a club? Quote Share this post Link to post
Curious618 20 Posted September 29, 2015 We really don't have any expectations in any age range. Just doing some research to see if one place has a certain age range versus another place. When we decide to go to a club, we just want to go to one that we both feel comfortable going to. We frequent that area and I happened to stumble across that club on the internet. GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted September 29, 2015 Curious618, I'd say that nearly all the clubs in our area (which is your area as well- we are just 20 minutes due west of Baltimore) have about the same demographic, age-wise. One exception to that is Tabu, which I'd say runs a bit younger than the other clubs we've visited. Quote Share this post Link to post
wfe42 15 Posted November 2, 2015 We attended our first club this past weekend! Tj's is a great place, the staff was amazing. They made us feel welcome as soon as we got there. We were there on Friday which is typicaly a slow night for them, and good for newbies like us. We are all ready planning our next trip. Quote Share this post Link to post
