Weekend getaways with swinging friends?

We have a few couples we meet with for fun, bit of travelling involved, but we still catch up from time to time.

 

We all full swap same room, and all in foursome with couples that like to play that way, rather than just simply swapping partners.

 

One of our couples has invited us to spend weekends away on a couple of occasions, but so far we have declined due to commitments, and a bit of a feeling that a few days 24/7 would be a bit too much of their company for us to take. Get on Ok, but in appropriate size doses. Just not the types we'd like in our back pockets day & night. Maybe a touch possessive, and mostly like a straight swap not an all in foursome.

 

Another couple made the same offer last night, and we'd be more than happy to spends a 2 or 3 day break away with them. We get on really well, no personality differences, enjoy their company attitude to playing, they like full swap, all in foursomes, all 3 on one lady, anything that's hot & sexy & within everyone's boundaries.

 

We all agreed it sounds like a great idea for a 3 day weekend & are planning & looking forward to it.

 

Just curious though, how these types of weekends tend to pan out?

 

As much a mix for company and outings as sex?

 

Or are they more tended towards a 24/7 orgy fitting in as much fun as can be had?

 

I know there's probably not a simple answer, but we would love to hear how others have spent this type of weekend way with others they know.

We have been dating another couple for several years and while we were all cautious the first time we all went away, it worked out just fine. For the most part, it's just like going somewhere with another vanilla couple with a little more touching involved. We've been to concerts, the 'Supper Club' in SF, the mountains, and now even two trips to Desires. It's really fun and sometimes there isn't even ANY sex (and that's okay too). We actually just do regular 'couples' things and enjoy the weekend...and then get naked. Just make sure everyone understands each others limits and arrange to have the possibility for some alone time (you and your SO) if needed and it should be just fine.

One of the interesting things was how people just needed breaks, obviously we were all pretty intimate, but you would kinda notice and give somebody a bit o quiet time, or the other couple a bit of quiet time. I think that is really why we get along so well with this couple. We are all really good friends now, but even before this experience we would go to swing clubs together, and just have a good time, kinda check in with each other now and then, see how things develop with no possessiveness.

 

I guess this is a difficult thing to explain. Some other couple's feel a need to be constantly with you all night and not give you any personal space or couple space. I feel it worked out really well as we are able to give each other both, including when the couple's were 'mixed'.

 

With a four way group dynamic all sharing the same bedroom, somebody is always talking, can't find a hairbrush, whatever. So people would need a bit of duck in another room time, not long, but it was evident.

 

I will also say this the sex was amazing, just non-stop, when we were behind closed doors.

 

So if you feel like you can make it work with this couple I would say go for it!

That's how we find it with them. No problem all together with everyone all in, doesn't feel like they need to be in our back pocket.

 

We are all more that happy to take breaks & be back with our SO's as if no-one else is in the room.

 

All our meets with them have been great so far.

Mix of great sex with both our own & the other partners all thru the evenings.

 

Simple case of all wanting a bit of each other, barring us two straight Mr's.

 

Anyway all good plans are in progress, & hopefully a few more meets before then.

We are 4 hours apart, but that's just how it is for some of us unfortunately.

That alone does seem to raise the level of mutual respect & friendship we've developed though.

We've done them a few times, and they've generally worked out fine. One of the best was getting a cabin with another couple on a weekend getaway. Plenty of room to play, and plenty of private space for each couple to regroup and get some down time.

I enjoy these types of weekend getaways a lot, both for the company and the sex. Skinny dipping is always fun. Even when doing vanilla activities like going out to dinner can be exciting because we would dress real sexy and even no panties. When indoors we get to relax, play some stripping games, and take everything at our own pace.

 

The one thing to watch out for is what Kikonkrome already touched upon: my husband is an introvert and he needs his alone time. Being with people 24/7 really drains him. So we always get a place with 2 bedrooms. While there are times we all play and sleep in the same room, having another bedroom gives Mr. A much needed time to get away if need be.

Well all plans going well so far.

 

Organised a few "to do" things on the weekend. Couple of meals out & a night in the clubs up there.

Only getting to spend 3 nights away...

 

Friends made the trip over to our place for the weekend.

Got the chance to sit down & make a few plans eye to eye.

Very smooth sailing, everyone easy going, just plain down to earth & a hell of a lot of fun.

Our weekend trip to Santa Fe went really well. From us it's an four hour drive which went faster than any I've experienced so far. The ladies were in the back seat for most of the time and they passed the time by kissing and fingering each other. I was driving so my rear view mirror was helpful!

 

Once we got there we walked to dinner and once back at the condo it was on. If I recall correctly we swapped separately then all met back up in the living room where we talked, cuddled, and made out with the other's spouse. Well Weekend away was a few weeks back now.

 

Was mostly a great time, just everyone a little run down.

 

All quite the first night, had a great dinner out & all just chilled out naked later.

A 6 hour drive behind MrsZ & I when we arrived in the afternoon, & MrsK & Co had only flown back from overseas a day earlier, so all a little burnt out for play the first night.

 

Great day out next day & lunchtime cruise & afternoon play session.

Plans were to head out to one of the clubs later, but MrsK had a bad tummy so we went clubbing alone.

 

Turned out to be a quiet night, only 2 other couples & of no interest.

 

Lots of fun next day, another Club night with all on board this time.

 

Slightly bigger crowd, a dozen or so people in total, but all of a different age frame.

We did all have fun amongst our selves though, but still a little disappointing.

 

Club Scenes are a whole lot different down here in Aus it seems.

Very few about & makes it not easy for non locals to find where to fit in & which theme nights best suit our personalities & age brackets.

 

Ah well, our friends are keen to make our next meet up, so planning that one now.

We were expecting the Club scene to be a little quiet, so no great disappointment.

QLD/Brisbane/Gold Coast has only a hand full of Clubs up there & they are pretty tightly regulated, or subdued maybe.

 

Probably a lot more lively on the Themed nights when the regulars all rock in.

 

Our Weekend was in the middle of New Year & Australia Day weekends, which most clubs had higher profiled events on the calendar.

 

Weren't looking for great hook-up experiences, were just a little more interested in experiencing the atmosphere & environment.

 

Still a great time had.
