What's amazing to me even after our conversations about my interest In us Swinging she seemed shocked by my results of the quiz and the details of my experiences before her ... Also I was shocked that being labled Vanilla was such a negative thing to her ?? When all her objections to the LS were so Vanilla ... The Quiz was a fun positive experience for us both and it bought out some of her naughty sides !!! ? my hope is that she sees that the LS could be a lot fun and a positive part of our marriage

We did a similar thing early in the piece, with quite a long winded quiz to rate how non-monogamous & suitable for a swinging lifestyle you are.

 

I'd scored (Mr) 13 on the scale of 20 putting me in the middle of the first non-vanilla group.

For this I got that contemplating look from MrsZ that meant "You're the Ring Leader" & the more natural one at this.

 

She then did her 50 odd question & got a score of 16, putting her near the top of the next highest "Bracket" that were much more at home on the Swing Scene.

 

Just a rung off making it to the hard core zone, where swinging is just natural.

The fact that she is disappointed about being labeled vanilla is at least an opportunity to help her 'improve' her score. First, keep talking about sex (and everything for that mater) and then find out what her limits are and what she is and isn't willing to do...then do those that she is willing TO do. Even if mrs.Aquarius IS currently "vanilla", she sounds competitive which could lead to her being open to upgrading her "kink" content. As GoldCoCouple mentioned keep your communication open about kink and everything along with treating mrs Aquarius like the queen she is for you.

Take small steps toward kink/freakdom/lifestyle over a long period of time works out best. Doing things like taking that quiz, buying her a gift card for her favorite lingerie store, watching some heterosexual porn with swapping/swinging themes, et all the while talking with her, drawing out her feelings about those subjects.

 

Edit: I, econo, was interested in the kink quiz idea and just took two separate random online kink tests (like 13 and 50 questions) and scored as both a kinkster and super freak. I'll have to get Red to do these too but knowing her background, she's probably going to be close to my scores also.

 

Mr. Aquarius, those quizzes seem to be a great natural way to bring up kinky ideas and activities but just don't let the quizzes be a check list of "must do" items.

It has to do about already having done it. I was in the third from to VP of Kink and I said I would do it all but have never done all of it. I would think kink would be about what you want to do but maybe haven't had a chance to do so... Not necessarily about what you have already done.

I think a lot of women today would consider themselves downright permiscuous, given their upbringing and the societies views on sex.  I was raised in the 80s and often told to act like a lady, don't sleep around, avoid boys cause they may spoil my virtue.  And let's not forget remaining pure till marriage.  But in today's world, one night stands and late nite hookups have become common place.  My grandmother married my grandfather when she was 17 and was only with him her entire life.  My mom waited till marriage to my dad to have sex, and would whip me with a belt if I so much as looked at a boy.  So when I started sleeping with guys as a teen and all through college, I'd feel like I was miles ahead of the curve for being kinky.  But that is the standard today, it is finally becoming acceptable for women to sleep around, so that moves the kinky line.  Being kinky is about kicking off societies norms, multiple partners for a woman is the norm now so whats kinky moves.
