Taking the plunge in Vegas

Long time lurker, first time poster here...

 

Our story starts out a lot like many others here. The wife and I have talked and fantasized about dipping our toes in the scene since I approached the subject about 2 years ago. When I initially brought up swinging, I was met with the typical eye rolling from the wife, along with "yeah, I'm sure YOU'D love THAT" playful denial. However the more we talked and researched together, the more we both realized that if others can do it, why can't we? Recently, we've been talking about it more frequently, and the wifey started asking more questions and expressed more of an interest, but only 'to make me happy'. I told her there was no way I was pressuring her into this, it had to be HER decision to move forward, because after all the reading I've done if I learned nothing else, it's that the women control the pace, and I did NOT want to screw this up before we even started!

 

Anyway, jump forward to last week... after a very busy holiday season, we'd been trying to plan some together time. Vegas is only a 2.5 hr drive away, so it is usually our go-to place for impromptu weekend getaways. So, last week we started looking into the clubs around Vegas and decided that we'd give the Red Rooster a try. We headed over to Vegas on Thursday night, and spent Friday at the outlets and shopping looking for something sexy to wear that evening. The wifey is a little self conscience, but I absolutely love her sexy curves and we found some outfits that she looked fantastic in and still made her feel comfortable and not too 'exposed'. There was a bit of exciting tension between us most of the day...and as the evening grew later, I could tell she was starting to get very nervous and anxious. She is a bit apprehensive to try new things in general, however she reassured me that she was OK and wasn't about to back out.

 

Around 11pm we were both dressed and looking good, if I do say so, and left the hotel for the 20 minute drive to the Rooster. We stopped and grabbed a 12 pack for the BYOB bar, and continued the drive with death grip hand-holding and reassuring our plan for the evening. We pulled up and parked in front of the place and almost chickened out...it was the wife that said, "I just psyched myself up on the trip over - I'm not backing out now!"

 

So we walked in, paid our $30 and checked our beer into the bar. We got a quick rundown of the joint from a regular and strolled around part of the downstairs area. We parked on a couch and just kind of people watched while sipping a beer. After about 30 minutes or so there was another couple from out of town getting the rundown from one of the volunteers/staff. We introduced ourselves and asked if we could be included on the 'tour'. Knowing that the other couple was new to this also really helped us relax and we got a great tour from one of the Staff members - he showed us all of the areas downstairs and let us know about the upstairs 'couples only' space.

 

We had decided before coming that whatever happens, happens, but we had no aspirations of playing with anyone. This was purely a fact-finding mission - we would just go and check things out, and maybe have a little fun with each other. So after the tour, we grabbed another beer and were sitting for just a moment when a single male (who we assumed and later confirmed was a regular) came and sat to chat us up. He was friendly, and it was obvious to him we were newbies, but he was very nice and polite - flirted a little but no pressure. We told him early in the conversation that it was our first time and we were just checking out the scene with no intentions of playing. He was very nice and continued our conversation for another 10 minutes or so before excusing himself.

 

After that, we headed upstairs to the couples only area. We found ourselves a spot on a sofa with about 6 other couples. We talked about our experiences that night, made out, I started playing with her boobs, and soon her girls were out in all their glory. My wife has quite large and amazing breasts and it was incredibly erotic for me to enjoy them in front of a crowd. Soon my pants were undone and she was giving me a blow job - something I never could have imagined happening 'in public'. It all seemed so natural and comfortable. By this time it was about 2am and the place was clearing out, so we decided to head back to our hotel and finish what we started at the Rooster.

 

On our way back to our room we recapped the evening, and came to the conclusion that we both loved it and can't wait to try it again! While we didn't play with anyone else, this experience did wonders to eliminate any anxiety and help us get comfortable in a club environment. It also helped us realize that, while we weren't put in that situation yet, we most likely won't have any jealousy issues because we felt more open with each other than we'd ever felt before. We screwed 3 times in the 12 hours following our return from the club...I can't remember even doing that as newlyweds!

 

Our 'local' club is Freedom Acres, which is only about 35 minutes away. We have already started planning an evening there - maybe next time we'll find some playmates!! We can't wait!!

Wonderful! I'm so glad your first visit to the club was exciting and stimulating. It sounds a lot like our first visit to the club! I hope you post more in the forums and not be a stranger.

We are in Long Beach, and always wanted to go to Freedom Acres, but wanted to spend the night somewhere local so we didn't have such a long drive back. Do you know of some place close to Freedom Acres to stay the night?

 

Our first trip to the Red Rooster (sometime in the 90's) was very similar to yours. We actually met a nice couple on an old website that focused on theatre sex. Actually met them in vegas and went to an adult theatre for some play, and had a good time. We then joined them at the Red Rooster, which they had been to many times (I believe they were from Minnesota) They showed us around and also had a great time there. I am sorry we lost touch with them after she was in a bad motorcycle accident. I still hope they are O.K.

 

We have been back to the Red Rooster many times since, but not in the last few years. Hope to revisit there on July 1st.

 

We are a MWC 68 and 60, older but wiser.

I agree, if you can make it out to Freedom Acres, please let everyone here know how the facilities are. We are hoping to check out Sea Mountain in Palm Springs but if we hear a positive review of Freedom Acres, we'll put that on our list as well.

I know there are a few motels nearby in Devore. They also have the Freedom Acres resort - they rent cabins and RV's there, but I hear they book up quickly. We have talked about possibly taking our RV there to stay, maybe after we check it out a time or two.

 

We had a great time at Red Rooster - very comfortable and laid back environment. Living close to Vegas, we go frequently and we'll definitely visit again.

 

Hopefully will have a Freedom Acres report in within the next few weeks!

It's never a requirement to just dive into the deep end of the pool...it's much nicer and easier to slip into the shallow end and enjoy the water. Glad to hear your first 'exposure' was a good one. Let us know about your next visit as well.
