Couple on couple is our swinging style, so maybe some others with more experience on threesome side of things will chime in here, but I don't think FMF threesomes are are all that rare. There probably are more MFM threesomes taking place since single males vastly outnumber single females in swinging, but there are couples where she will play alone as part of a threesome, so that does help make it something that's not impossible to find.

 

Maybe biased opinion, but to me the best way to find a threesome is to find a good foursome. When playing with another couple, all four don't move exactly in lockstep. We have had a few FFM threesomes in the last year. I think you are right they are not as uncommon as everyone makes them appear. They are not as straight forward to initiate as MMF threesomes, however. I also think you have as much of a chance finding one outside of the 'lifestyle' as inside it. That I do not think is the case with MMF.

 

I think the primary thing to consider is that women's sexuality is different from men's. Therefore, you really need to address the third's wants and desires. Whereas with a MMF the third is just along for the ride. Your third, when she is female will probably have more requirements. Does that make sense? Also safety is more of a factor with a third woman than a third man. Let's face it, there are not too many women that I know of that are just going to meet some couple in a hotel room they met online for sex.

 

There are regularly Unicorns or Lesbian couples that are at the sex clubs though. So saying it is impossible to find hasn't been my experience.
