starlet 18 Posted March 17, 2016 Hi all, my wife and I were reading through the archives and found this wonderful thread: Swinging – a candid, personal reflection We liked it so much we thought we'd resurrect it by contributing to it ourselves. Thanks to DigginIt for coming up with a such a great window into our lives as swingers. Background Married, 36Mstr 33Fbi, no children, active for 1 year Stats 19 Couples slept with (5 long-term, 14 one night stands, many at the same parties) 1 Single Guys 5 Single Girls Youngest 21, oldest 44 3 House parties we've attended at other peoples homes 5 Club Parties attended (Purr, Saints and Sinners, Debauchery, Wet on Wellington, The Monkey Club) 3 Parties hosted at home (>4 couples) 2 countries (we had a memorable new years in Hawaii) 2 close calls - running into an old work colleague of E's at a party (him and his wife were great about our shared secret), and running into our neighbors when we were having a meet and great with a couple we'd met for the first time. Fortunately we survived both! 0 UTI’s Active on 2 websites (Rhp and AMM) 0 lifestyle vacations (they are a bit harder to get to from aus) Witnessed 2 break ups Personal changes Her – lost 5kgs., was quite fit when we started Him – lost 8kgs., lots of toning Both – swinging draws out a competitive instinct we both have to be as hot as we possibly can be...we are a lot fitter and healthier now that we're seen naked Personal thoughts on swinging Swinging has had a huge positive impact on our relationship and is part of who we are now. We've discovered new things about our sexuality and fantasies that we did not expect (her for DP, him a thing for powerful, posh older women) The only drawback is how sad/disappointing it is that we cannot share this part of our lives with our friends because of the stigma associated with it. That is probably the biggest drawback we've had in the lifestyle. Please share your stats, experiences and thoughts and add to this body of knowledge 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,068 Posted March 21, 2016 It is sad that something this great cannot usually be shared with 'vanilla' friends without running the risk of being ostracized. Fortunately, at work I'm known as a joker so when people start talking about what they are doing this weekend, I can say that we are getting together with some friends and having an orgy or skinny dipping or dancing naked around a bonfire and everyone just laughs...then we get together with friends and have an orgy or go skinny dipping or dance naked around a bonfire. Their loss... Quote Share this post Link to post
