It came upon me without realizing it. But I have felt no impulse in heaven knows how long. I have completely lost interest in XXX video and such since becoming involved in swing. Being able to see (in three-D), hear (in living stereo), smell, feel, and taste women in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and temperaments, two-dimensional images, even if moving images, are simply boring.

Since I started posting photos of my wife here, I haven't had the desire to look at porn either. Not that I look at it much before (honestly) but my wife always did it for me anyways now even more so.

I don't know that it has really changed much. We don't get a chance to swing that often, but I could see how if you do, then porn would be of zero interest since even if you aren't directly involved, just being around the real thing is exponentially better than watching it on a screen. I've always preferred amateur porn, and I will say that since I started swinging that's gone from a preference to a requirement...if it's not real people having real sex, then forget it...the fantasy-based pro stuff has zero appeal to me.

Not at all for us! We still have porn nights together as much as we did before the lifestyle. We know the difference between the real thing and porn, but it doesn't stop us from enjoying it for what it is. Dirty entertainment with bad acting can be amusing to us still. It doesn't make us want each other any less.

So this is pretty complicated for me.

 

Certainly when we are actively swinging porn just goes out the window. Lack of desire, maybe, reality being more fun than fantasy, sure. The other big thing I would guess would be just lack of time. We have our 'together' nights and that might mean porn, or kinky sex or others. Just only so many hours in the day.

 

On the opposite hand (err ok right hand so to speak, I'm a righty. Is that too much information?) when we are apart, I notice we both start watching it.

 

We have kinda tried a skypeing evening or something similar, but honestly hasn't really worked out.

 

I have noticed when I am traveling I get turned on by the local girls and start looking for any kinda porn that involves the predominantly local population.

We often have porn (in the form of whatever is on Playboy TV) in the background at home. Honestly, it doesn't excite as much as it used to, but it's still a nice "background music" to have going. If I pay attention, and it's a hot sex scene rather than one of the "porn comedy" shows, it can help turn me on. But it's not as titillating as it used to be, since we've seen all kinds of live-and-in-person hotness!
