Anyone been to Desire Riviera Maya this year?

We've heard several completely different reports on Desire Riviera Maya since the new resort opened next door and we are just looking to find out which are more accurate. Has anyone been this year? Is security good or are the neighboring guests really invading the property (or at least looking thru the windows at the pool)? We are wanting to start planning our next 'away' trip and are wondering if we should return there or think about somewhere else. Thanks for any input.

Just got back last week from our first trip. Never seen an outsider come in. Never seen someone on the few balconies that can see the pool. I seen zero problems at all.

Sexy costumes (if they are REALLY sexy) hardly take up any space (like a Kleenex...in fact Kleenex make a very sexy costume) and we only need the shoes we're wearing.

The Mrs. spent a lot of our suitcase space on shoes! And of course you're right in general about club dresses and such, but the costumes for theme nights can sometimes be bulky- all those feathers and leathers and such...

I get the shoe thing. Give me a pair of flip-flops and I'm good for the week. Women need a least two pair of shoes a day. I did forget how much room good leather takes up, however.
