Curiouscpl21 17 Posted July 24, 2016 We both prefer to be close shaved but Mrs curious is having problems with ingrown hairs. We use a cleancut trimmer and intimate shaver. Also aloe vera but still a painful problem. Any advice or alternative shaving system would be much appreciated. Quote Share this post Link to post
kikonkrome 844 Posted July 25, 2016 Wax?? That's what Kiko and I do. Takes care of the ingrown hair issue. There is also some ointment out there to assist with ingrown hairs. I am pretty sure. Found this for you. 7 Ways to Remove an Ingrown Hair - wikiHow Good luck with it!!! Quote Share this post Link to post
Curiouscpl21 17 Posted July 25, 2016 Thanks very much for your advice we will give the cream a try. Waxing sounds painful - ouch! Quote Share this post Link to post
asncpl 730 Posted July 25, 2016 I too usually wax but my husband and I also use an electric shaver from Norelco called Bodygroom. It doesn't shave as close as a blade but it also doesn't result in ingrown hairs or itchiness. When I shave after shower using the Bodygroom, it does a really good job and you feel slight stumbles only if you run your hand against the grain. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
oc1234 435 Posted July 26, 2016 My wife and I have been totally shaved for years. Originally we both used razors but switched to a Norelco Bodygroom five years ago. You do want to keep it charged since it can pull a little if the rechargeable is about dead. I have two pictures of my wife using the shaver posted in an album on this site. I do find it a turn-on watching her shave. Quote Share this post Link to post
Curiouscpl21 17 Posted July 26, 2016 Thanks all for the advice. We will try the Bodygroom. Haven't worked out how to include a partial quote but found the pictures of oc1234's wife very sexy! 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
diablodel3 16 Posted September 5, 2016 Try coochie creame shave cream. It doesn't absolutely prevent ingrown hairs, but it greatly reduces the number. Also, I've noticed that if I shave on Friday and wear loose pants over the weekend, I don't have problems with ingrown hairs. Quote Share this post Link to post
ZoDee 81 Posted September 8, 2016 Keep exfoliating after shaving is one of the keys. It keeps the follicles open & helps the new growth to emerge. Those exfoliating gloves are the best, well soaped up & a good scrub in the shower. Creams are helpful too, but must be the right stuff, some will promote ingrowns. MrsZ's field though, not mine. let's do it again 416 Posted December 1, 2022 I dated a woman in the adult industry and she told me that she used neosporin as a shave cream and it left no red bumps or ingrown hairs. Quote Share this post Link to post
