Getting older

I am in my late 40s but can still pass for several years younger. I am attracted to women in their early 30s and often get couples in their late 20s. This has been the case for several years. As guys get older is it normal to find older women more attractive? I would think that would be the case and want that to be the case but have been unable to make it happen. How have others dealt with this?

I was into milfs before milf was a thing so I was always attracted to older women. Now that my wife is in her early 40s and at her sexual peak, she makes me feel 18 again. She's two years younger than me, btw.

The Mrs. and I are in our mid-50s. I have found myself naturally attracted to women in my age range all along- I guess I am attracted to people like myself. That aspect may not be relatable for you, Playtou, from what I read in your post. But I have also found my horizons broadening as we get more experience in the lifestyle. I'm finding myself attracted these days to more different kinds of women, including some women who are older than me.

 

I hope you will come to realize that women your age and older are often very experienced and creative, quite perceptive, and really interesting people, even if the model year is not quite as new! You're passing up a fortune in fun by passing up those in your age range!

This is what I think happens. It's a tricky thing. I find I am super attracted to woman that I believe my wife was when she was younger. However any woman that reminds me of my daughter or ex-wife is an instant turn off. There are a few ex gf's in there as well.

 

I will readily admit that I have been super attracted to women much older than, which I quess at this age is getting harder to do, LOL.

 

I will say this. Your personal perceived age is generally different from your publicly perceived age. In other words, you may think you 'look younger' and may do well with younger women and couples. But it might not be the case that they are seeing you as their own age. Hope that makes sense.

 

@Chicouplexx I don't understand why you take the op's comment personally? I think he is allowed to admit attraction for younger women. Honestly I hope the best he's having is his wife!!

Aging is at once a curse and a gift. Sex and sexuality change, and what seems 'exciting and attractive' changes as well. Most couples we know tend to stay roughly within an age range (the range expands as one gets older--15 years younger at 35 looks different than fifteen years younger at 65, e.g.). The physiological effects of aging are well-known, widely discussed and can be troubling for men (softer erections, longer refractory times) and for women (hot flashes, thinning of vaginal tissues, less lubrication). What is less well understood are the far more enjoyable attitudinal changes. There is less pressure, less competitiveness, less anxiety and more enjoyment. Older people know what they like, know what they want and have a confidence about themselves that tends to diminish drama and so on. When that confidence radiates, it's irresistible.

I'm 55, my girlfriend is 45, we played with a girl in her late 20's a while ago and there was drama. Her boyfriend kept having to ply her with nose candy to keep her going.
