How often do you get waxed?

Hey,

 

I started getting Brazilian waxes shortly before we entered the LS last spring, and Mr. Snow and I love the results. I usually end up doing an emergency shave in between (before a date) and get in trouble with my wax tech. She wants me to wait six weeks between waxes and grow a short bush before I return. Do others do this? Doesn't it bother you? Thanks!

That kinda makes sense to me, from the point of view of the wax tech. After all, she needs some hair to grab hold of, right? Hopefully, the hair comes in finer as time goes by, though.

Both myself and my wife wax.

 

Yes to do it properly you need to have some hair to hold on to. I go about two to four times a year, my wife maybe every other month.

 

That said, your hair certainly gets thinner the more you do it.

Her tech has told her the same thing on the timing, so she goes every five to six weeks.

I also wax every 6-8 weeks. If I am paying for the service, i want it to be effective, and shaving in between doesn't help. With that said though, I've had a few emergency shaves myself, but I really try hard not to do it.

Thanks, everyone. Then my follow-up question would be: Assuming you do not like the full-bush look, would it bother you if a play partner had short hair all over the area? I can't restrict myself to only playing once every six weeks!

It absolutely will not bother me! But we should try it, just to be sure!

No bother at all . I like smooth but as she nears time for a touch up, some short and fuzzy is kind of an interesting change of pace for a little while.

Such problems we have! We agree that a scientific test is in order, testing not less than twice a week for the duration between waxes. We volunteer to help conduct the samples, as we feel it's our obligation!
