I see there is a post about the intimacy of a BJ vs sexual intercourse. I have noticed that most couples have some form of oral sex prior to intercourse. Mostly this is a female getting a guy hard with a BJ and less so men going down on a woman.

Is this because oral sex is expected by men? I notice that on the other post a BJ is less intimate, what about oral on a woman? Is that more intimate?

When my husband and I have sex it is not that common for me to go down on him, he doesn't really like it that much. He is pretty much already hard when we start. In swinging I typically do.
